"We are a traditional country pub serving homemade lunches and evening meals. We take bookings by phone or email, it is advised to book especially for Sunday lunch. We have a large car park and can cater for free motor home stop overs for customers using the pub. Second Tuesday of the month is quiz night and we have traditional acoustic music on the other Tuesdays."

Stopped by @ noon sharp on a Sunday & although quiet, (3 other real ale drinkers @ bar!!) the staff/pub was gearing up for @ least 30 people for Sunday dinner!!I had Mole Trap by Mauldons brewery. Very nice.

What a lovely place, Liz and her son William are so friendly. 6 of us ate there, one of us didn't like Stilton so Liz was quite happy to make it without. All the food is freshly cooked to order. I had the bricklayers burger, it was the best burger I have ever tasted. We booked for the following Sunday dinner whilst we were there 😊 defo worth a try

Called in based on the recommendation of a local who suggested if it was a Sunday lunch we were looking for, that was the place to go and we weren't disappointed. Traditional local pub with the classic Sunday roast menu of Roast Beef, Chicken, Lamb and Pork all suppled locally as are the selection of vegetables.Home made classic deserts tops off the menu. All in all great food, really friendly atmosphere and very reasonably priced made it an extremely pleasant experience.

The land lady made you feel very welcomed. The quality and quantity of food was very good. The seating area on the village green and the band gave a extra special vibe to the lovely setting of the pub.

Lovely village pub in a beautiful setting on the village green. We rode there on our horses and stayed for lunch and was served the best pub lunch while the horses grazed. The service was amazing and very friendly. Strongly recommend.
