The mash brought back the memories of the advert from the 80s. Pie's I would only imagine the type sweeny tod would of supplied the pie shop in that great film.. but liquor is ok

Very much love pie n mash and can honestly say that this is nothing like eastend pie n mash firstly they used smash secondary pies tasted disgusting

This is the best pie and mash, Charis and Colette are the nicest servers I have ever met, if only there was more servers like them in the world it would be a better place. So to sum up, great pie, great mash, and fabulous staff!! 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

My family and I have been coming to this shop for almost 35 years. My Nan and Grandad would bring us on a Tuesday and the food was / is still fantastic. I always loved the chilli vinegar. The staff are wonderful and always remember us when we come in even though I’m now 40. A total must if you are visiting Clayton.

Been coming here for the last twenty odd years. Every time I visit Clacton I ensure that I drop in here for pie and mash. Very lovely food and so cheaply priced too. The owner is really lovely too. Been run by her family for well over thirty years.
