It's okay. We had a nice welcome and got our tea straightaway. Then we waited. Waited some more. The tea was gone. Then, eventually the food turned up. Not brilliant. The food was okay, but we can get similar in other places quicker. Hence just three stars due to glacially slow service.

Lovely food. My family go here every weekend. I have been coming here with my Nana and my mum since I was a child, and now I take my daughter. Lovely, friendly staff. Can't wait to go again at the weekend.

Found this place for the first time despite it being around for 80 years and seemingly everyone other than us knowing about it. Great food, great staff and great service. Will definitely be going back soon 👍

Family run restaurant serving delicious freshly cooked food. I can only vouch for the breakfasts which never waiver for quality. Have been calling in for a lot of yrs, but due to covid not been that way for a couple of yrs, all I can say is its as good as ever & i"m fussy when it comes to a fry up, no grease piping hot with a lovely slice of freshly cooked bread, also the coffee is as good as it gets

Only went in for a cup of tea. Lovely big room with plenty of light. Welcoming proprietor (as long as you wait to be seated, which we didn,t!😀) and what appeared to be a good menu. Never been before but will definitely call in again.

Good staff, COVID precautions, and plenty of parking. Breakfast menu has many options but are just variants of the same. Food is cooked well but oddly with identical consistency. Coffee (latte) was an acquired taste. Asked to pay in advance...which was odd. Nice enough but unlikely to return.

First ever visit. Loved the food. Great ingredients, fresh and not greasy. Good spaced set up and covid systems in place. Staff are polite and helpful. Highly recommended.
