Went here for breakfast good produce looks nice on the plate thick bacon sausages was awesome quality food good value and crusty toast an absolute clean place and great staff will deffo use again as we are only in Clacton but also wide range of food for every taste

Every time me and my hubby come to Walton on the Naze, we come to The Potatoe Shack. It's part of the ritual! Ginny does a fierce no.3 breakfast. Two bacon, two sausages, two eggs, beans, toast, tomato and mushrooms. I don't have the tomato and mushrooms but ask for chips and hash browns. I call it breakfast with extra breakfast. A great meal after doing the full Naze walk! Lovely staff here. Nothing is too much trouble. All the lovely staff make a fuss over my dog Raven and fill her with treats. Great to see Ginny and Barbara every year. Glad the business has survived the pandemic. See you all on my next visit. Natasha x

Lovely staff, fab food . Always a joy to eat there

Had a quick bite to eat with me boys on the 14th of feb 22 and was very impressed with the quality of the food and the pricing is very reasonable for its location. cheaper then most other food outlets and top quality homemade food to. Will definitely eat in again next time I'm back in walton on the naze

Qwerky homely little cafe. Great food at really inexpensive prices. A little gem.

A small restaurant with some outside seating and a small inside area you can sit in. The kitchen is also open to the side and you can buy food to take away from there too.The food was normal fare, breakfast bap, jacket potatoes etc. One highlight is the Friday jerk night, which I would love to try.All in all a nice place very close to the seafront.

4 of us had meal in potatoe shack all had lasagna chips salad and home made coleslaw it was superb and lots of it . we also had Sunday lunch there it was delicious you have book on Sunday it gets very busy,there menu quite goodwell done Jenny and waitress who served us she has pink hair .And reasonable prices I have no hesitation in recommending potatoe shack

Good service and reasonably priced. Selection of breakfasts, lighter bites, and mains. Lamb casserole was good, chili con carne is family friendly spiced, chicken burger and chips had no frills. Coffee was drinkable, but not a coffee place.
