The Restaurant at The Lifehouse in Tendring

After a relaxing session at the spa, you would like for nothing more than a relaxing dinner however this was unfortunately not the case. Whilst the staff are pleasant, the frustration you have just let go of builds up as you wait ages for your food to come. The starters were the best part of the meal, as the mains disappoint relative to their cost. Bit on the expensive side based on the quality of the food. Staff are lovely but a speedier service is needed.

Staff were really friendly and efficient and the food delicious especially if you like northern Italian food. House wine good value too

Very expensive menu. Most popular foods have a supplementary fee. As a customer/consumer, Lifehouse should let me know before about this before I book a table for dinner.

Spa and treatment very nice. Restaurant not very good, the service was very poor. Waited 3 hours for our meal and the lunch was an hour and half late. Staff very pleasant but not enough of them.

Amazing food at a fair price in beautiful surroundings. In spite of some previous reviews they have seemed to put a bit more effort into the service as well.

Really poor restaurant. Food mediocre, service probably the worst I’ve encountered. Bar staff absolutely dire, so rude and abrupt and utterly awful.

Amazing Mediterranean inspired food. Everything freshly made and tastes fantastic!
