The Victory in Tendring

Recieved the warmest of welcome for us and the dog. The food was immense, the mussels were beautiful, best I've had! The staff were all so friendly and helpful just wished we lived closer but we will be back as there are so many gorgeous meals on the menu.

Had a lovely meal. We had the £20 sharing Tapas, Fish and chips and the apple and pear crumble. It was really lovely and good size portions and great prices. Staff were very welcoming too. Would definately recommend.

Super helpful staff, was able to help us as we hadn't booked a table. We will next time as the service and food was fantastic. Also we was impressed with the whole dining experience.Would recommend and will be going back.Thank you to everyone at the Victory!!! 🤜

If you go to any pub in Walton on the Naze make sure it's The Victory! Cosy with a roaring fire and friendly staff. They paid so much attention to my dog Raven. They really made a point of spoiling her with treats. She really loved all the attention. The food here is glorious. My hubby loved the burger and the fish and chips is the best I've ever had. On another visit I had a lovely share board with hummus, tatziki, olives, tapanade, olive oil with balsamic vinegar and toasted bread. On the side I had a pot of prawns with lemon mayo. They do lovely chipolatas as well and the crumble was so good I came back for more on my second visit. Wonderful staff. They really made us welcome. Lovely to chat to the chef about his lovely food. This pub doesn't look much from the outside but don't be put off. The food is lovely, the fish & chips were excellent. We had a long chat with both the owners / chef who made us very welcome. Would highly recommend for a quick pint or a sit down lunch. Will be back.

This pub restaurant has a really unique menu which allows you to select or combine tasty portions to suit your appetite. The larger shared platters, fish or spanish, came with a delicious selection of themed dishes. A nice find.We would most definitely return.

We had booked for a table of 8, the staff accommodated our booking.Menu has plenty of choices from starters to deserts.We had the roast dinners, we all really enjoyed and clean plates all round.Lord Nelson would be proud.We would visit again for sure, the crackling open fire 🔥 gives a welcome warmer.

Ohh what a lovely pub. Really friendly staff, great prices and FABALOUS FOOD. We were here last Friday for lunch and although we live a fair way away, we will be back!!!Keep up the good work and thank you.

Great tapas for lunch! Huge choice, our selection arrived and looked amazing - and tasted even better...

The best pub in Walton. Fresh, delicious food, that's well priced. Good selection of spirits and well kept lines keep the lager fresh and true to taste, with a constant rotation of guest ales keeping the selection varied. Book early especially for roast dinners, as spaces fill up quickly. Dog friendly in main bar area or garden. Always clean no matter how busy they are in, including beer garden and toilets. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
