A very good selection of food at reasonable prices, the staff were helpful and polite. The down sides for me were the vegetarian sausages they arrived almost black in colour (maybe they were deep fried) and they mostly seemed to be made of onion. Don't get me wrong I love onion but not really into a whole sausage tasting mostly of onion. There are so many tasty veggy sausages on the market today, unfortunately these let the meal down.

We've been to Victoria Cafe a few times now after walking from Thorrington and return by bus. Makes for a great walk and lunch. Thank you for such WONDERFUL food. Great value, perhaps the best place we've eaten in. Ken and Sue xx

Superb service. 10 breakfasts ordered, all different with different drinks. Not one item wrong. Quickly served up, freshly cooked and hot. Even though it was busy nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back. Merry Christmas.

I eat here about once a week, food is pretty good and great value. The waitressing staff can be a little difficult to get through to, but they are young and if you have a problem the guys behind the counter will get it sorted straight away.Today the lost a loyal and regular customer. I ordered my usual but NOT the human hair that came with it! They tried to convince me that it wasn't hair but part of the nylon bag the mushrooms are packed in. I have worked in catering from a greasey spoon cave to a sous chef in a five star hotel I have NEVER seen mushrooms shipped in nylon bags always in cardboard containers to prevent cutting or bruising. From my recollection the person who cooked the mushrooms was not wearing a head covering thus breaching health and hygiene regulations
