Wimpy in Tendring

Fast food restaurant, cheap meals. Staff were not overly friendly when we went, like constantly looked moody.

It's a whimpyFood was nice as wimpy goesService was very goodReasonably priced

Its ok but it is expensive for what you get. I had the same meal in a local cafe next door the day after which was half the price.

Wimpy is like a slighly upbeat version of McDonald's. Offering the service in a less fast food manner, with slighly better quality in food and a larger menu.

In 15 years of going here, the quality of food and service has always been very good

Difficult to park anywhere near, so be prepared to walk ! We went in for breakfast and there was a good choice. Food was good although my husband had to return his as baked beans were stone cold and they replaced no problem. Toilets were not very nice ...and staff were very young and seemed inexperienced. Would visit again but I wouldn't rush back.

Ordered food on Uber eats, accepted and delivery time window was given, 40 minutes after this window, nothing.Requested several updates, nothing. Called the restaurant, someone picked up and put the phone straight down and left off the hook, as seven calls later the phone was still off the hook.Very unprofessional and very disappointing, but more than willing to accept orders and take money beforehand

Dam best Cafe I have ever been too I travel from London just too have breakfast here. They seem too be currently be experimenting with there coffee but they use fresh blend of bean. There on the right path better than any coffee you would find in any high street franchise.I'm happy too offer them my services for any advice on brewing if required.Good Job Clacton Wimpy.

Have to say. This place has gone downhill. The food is made terribly. The condiment basket is full of rust. The toilets where filthy. Covered in remains from the pervious user, toilet set fell off and mess all over the floor. While the kitchen area when they were putting the dirty dishes away to be washed they were throwing it into the trays, smashing glasses in the process then going into the kitchen to cook. Ordered the wimpy grill defiantly not what appears in the menu. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

We visited this establishment based in Clacton-on-sea in the early evening for a quick supper and we stood at the door way and immediately someone came and showed us to a table and as I'm wheelchair bound they moved a chair allowing to sit opposite my wife. Ordered our food and drink which was made to order but the waiting for our meal was very quick. The waitress was very pleasant through out our time there and brought over the card payment device to our table and talked to my wife and myself about our holiday before we left.Would recommend highly
