The best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The cod was perfectly crispy on the outside and succulent and juicy on the inside, the chips had great flavour too. Portion size is decent for the price and location being by the beach was very convenient. Loved the woman who served us too.

We visited you on the 4th May and had 2 x fish, chips & mushy peas, 1 x Coffee, 1 x Tea. We really enjoyed the fish & chips but felt very upset at the cost, we would normally give good feed back on trip advisor but I felt £32.60 is a unfair cost for what we ordered. I would not normally challenge a cost but everywhere else we purchased the same we were charged £20. When we purchased the food, we did originally order cod then changed it to haddock so both my partner & l wondered if we got charged for both by accident. Please could I leave this with you to investigate? I have a copy of the charge on a bank statement attached as we were not given a receipt. Regards

Delicous food, friendly staff and generous sized portions too!!

Ordered from here for first time in a couple of years as the quality wasn’t as good as it was. However the wing of skate, cod and chips we ordered today were excellent of excellent quality and we will definitely be ordering from them again. Thank you

Dined in and ate. (24.4.2022) Waited around 20 minutes or more as they thought they already gave us our food. Chips were horrible. Asked for curry sauce and got served gravy instead. Person who brought our food over wiped his nose with his hands then instantly picked up our plates to bring them to our table without washing his hands 🤢. Not very nice experience and food quality really isn't great. Will try another place next time. Don't see my self coming back after spending that money on poor quality cooked food. One of the worst fish & chips shops iv ever ate at.

It was an epically long wait for some adequate food, almost an hour for a takeout of chips and sausage. Can't comment on the fish but the chips were not great, portion was OK. Thought everyone was queuing as it was going to be epic but seems it was more likely day trippers like ourselves. Worth a visit if you can walk in and walk out with your food straight away I think.

Been a few times as food is really nice. The only reason for 4 stars is I didn't find the staff overly friendly this time. We did have to wait about 20 mins for our order, which I'm putting that down to covid safe guarding. There was a large que forming while i was waiting. We have eaten in before covid a couple years back which was satisfactory. We will be go back againg

Really busy here and the fish and chips weren't as good as usual but previously it has always been good . Its spotlessly clean here and we won't hesitate to go back .

Definitely the best place round here for fish and chips. I haven't tasted any better yet. I ate here when I was younger, and they're still just as good.
