Delicious food, really friendly and welcoming service.

Great meal and good service throughout the meal. Hence the 2 stars. However, if a customer rings ahead to enquire if its ok to sit down at 10 and you agree treat them with the same respect you would if they were there at 8. If its too much trouble just say your closed. We’d could have walked up the road.The food was great but couldn’t be properly enjoyed as a waiter was hoovering around us whilst we were eating! if you wanted to get home by 11 then you should have said no when we rang or chosen to work in another industry.Another tip. If a customer jokes with you when paying the £200 bill “ sorry are we keeping you up” don’t say YES.My advice if going. Book Early.

Great food, really nice staff wouldn't go anywhere else

Brilliant food brilliant service cannot recommend it enough

First time at this restaurant for 16 years....very nice food and atmosphere. More expensive than other Indian restaurants in the area but the food was cooked well and very tasty. Probably will not use it regularly but definitely on special occasions.

Genuinely gutted as the food was great, but we where stiffed by the waiter. Our bill was £80 and because there was two of us it was £40 each. The waiter very quickly palmed our receipts and I should have asked to see them there and then but stupidly I didn't, and when I checked my account when I got home he had charged £48 and he did the same to my friend, so a £80 bill became a £96 bill. Bad show, very bad show and no way to run a business, will not be going back

Very disappointed. I've been here many times before but returned last weekend with a friend and when it came to paying the bill the waiter decided to overcharge us despite confirming the amount twice. Unfortunately this was only discovered when I returned home. This is fraud so please ask for a receipt if you intend to eat here, I will never go back.

Still as good as ever. Been a while since we ate there and Impressed the standard of food and service continues to be 5 star.

Welcome back guysYesterday we visited Abbots Tandoori for the first time in over a year because of lockdowns and the pandemic.I have to say the restaurant is looking amazing with its refit and freshen up 👍🏻It won’t come as any surprise to regular customers like us it was like we had never been away. The atmosphere was the same the staff was just as friendly as before and most importantly the food 🥘 was the best.Shah and his team should be very proud of themselves for surviving this past year and bouncing back with such confidence. There’s no complaints here of being a bit rusty or out of practice from the forced break.Back better than pre lockdown great job guys
