Service is always good at this pub/restaurant. Food is of a high standard. Would highly recommend.

Very good pub with a varied menu and very good food. Good pint of real ale as well.Staff exceptional and service with a smile throughout.May appear expensive but you pay for what you get with generous portions.We went mid week for lunch and it was quit full so recommend booking.

We went for Sunday lunch, just 2 of us. Knew what we wanted & ordered quickly. Drinks took a long time to come & 2 roast dinners took over an hour to be served to our table. Meal was OK but not very hot. Won't be going back.

I really had to decide whether or not to leave this review, but looking at others posts I felt it best as it seems to be a reoccurring issue. Your staff are great, but clearly over worked. Perhaps yesterday someone was sick, or you were particularly busy, but I shouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes to ask a waiter to order a drink. It was pretty impossible to order anything. If you’re going to have seated tables you need to serve them. The kitchen did not have all the dishes in the menu (strange for Wednesday @7:30) so would sugggest again understaffing/lack of management in kitchen. Perhaps this is also due to stock issues. Whole space still felt like covid was happening with large spaces in between tables, why not sit more people inside so your staff aren’t running outside so much? Or have a dedicated food runner? Or just let people go to the bar? It felt all very strange, and to not have 3/4 complete dishes missing off menu (as a vegetarian your options are already limited). Overall your staff on the floor were amazing just clearly over worked - with the prices you’re charging surely it’s better to get a couple of extra staff members in?! Rather that then have to refund customers/loose customer satisfaction? I probably won’t be returning which is a shame as it looked like a very promising place, just hope you sort this out before it becomes an issue, as hospitality is on very shaky ground and people expect good service for their money. If it wasn’t for your manager yesterday this would have been a 1 star review.

12 pounds for a big english breakfast. Really tasty and a cozy ambience. Would recommand :)

We live down the road so Been a number of times. Love the place. Food is superb and the people are lovely. I can't resist the maple chicken burger. Best ever. But today I had the buffalo Cauliflower wings. Wow texture and bursting with flavour. Anyone who can make vegan/vegetarian food so irresistible deserves credit. The chef has talent!! Have to say the value is great too. I expected the bill to be a bit higher, but pleasntly surprised

The steak was very good and well made. The halloumi burgers as well as the moving mountains burgers were also quite delicious however the burger bun was cold so it made it seem like the meal was all cold. The butter chicken burger was amazing, very nicely presented. The grilled chicken, first class👍🏻 the atmosphere and staff were also pleasant would definitely recommend. Nice desserts!

Went there for lunch with family. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was delicious apart from a sandwich where the bread was a little stale but the filling was good. Tables were well spaced out. Generally a great experience!

Great experience. Food beautifully presented. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were in the outside gazebo and loved decor. Would recommend

Was honestly expecting way better tasting food than had for the money spent on the food/drinks!Have definitely had better food and cocktails in a pub.The most disappointing was the steak at £18 that was dry & chewy!All meals were mainly loaded with fries.Burgers were not as one would expect in a pub.The fish and chips had a way too small curled up fish.Worth the money? Not sure!And yes roast chicken is only available on Sunday!Plus points:Service was good and the staff were lovely.Not sure if any Covid secure settings are being adapted?
