Croxley Express BBQ in Three Rivers

Lovely day in Croxley, ate in one of the lovely cafés, which set a standard. End of the day we went to this kebab shop. He made the food, with his very very grimey hands, dirt under his very long, yellow fingernails, and dirt smeared all over his hands. After he made us our kebabs, he said to us, “hopefully you don’t get a stomach ache from that lads.” Outrageously unhygienic in general, and topped off with a lovely, reassuring comment. We will not be eating there ever again, and don’t you worry, we left with stomach aches. If you don’t want to feel ill and disgusted, don’t eat here. If I could rate 0 stars, I would still want to rate it minus 5 stars. How is it even legal to have that level of uncleanliness, stay well away from Croxley express bbq.

There food is amazing....cooked over charcoal, it takes a along time but worth the wait.Let down by delivery so will phone and collect next time...

Had the Special Kebab and it was fantastic. Very good quality meat, tasted delicious. Rice perfect and sald fresh.Spoke to the restaurant to confirm order and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely digusting. 🤢😡 i oredered food, then was told by a friend of mine to walk out the back, as i did this i saw a old crusty van with a window open with all their food in their. I then continued to vomet in the back of the van onto the eggs and then saw him spat on to clean it then gave it to one of his clientels. Before you buy from here go take a look out the back

Love this place! The food is great, the shish dishes are excellent cooked over coal. I recommend the Mixed Kebab wrap. Perfect portion, lovely sauces, great salad and we always get service with a smile!

I wish I could give 0 stars for everything as that's all this rubbish takeaway deserves.Ordered 2 kebabs at 7.15pm. Confirmed delivery by the restaurant for 8.45pm.Time came and went. I called the restaurant at 9.10 and was given endless excuses and promised my food would be with me by 9.30pm.No food arrived!10. 15 and 3 hours after our initial order we called again and still no food but app showing as food delivered. Another lie as food had not even been cooked and hadn't even left the takeaway.Avoid. Avoid. You have been warned!Awful place. Never again.I live 10 minutes from kebab shop so absolutely no excuse plus no one can be expected to wait 3 hours for 2 kebabs whilst constantly phoning only to be told one lie after another.Food never arrived.I will never order from them again and Just Eat should get rid of this lying takeaway shop.Please everyone avoid like the plague......

I've been in person to order/collect food previously and everything was great. I recently tried ordering from just eat and on both occasions found the food to be inedible. They refry cold chips and send it out knowing that people can't be bothered to complain. My kebab on both occasions was over cooked and dry. It's a real shame as I have previously enjoyed the food there. Clearly they can't be bothered with people ordering online and have no pride in what they send out.

If I could give NO stars I would.Ordered at 9.30 to be delivered at 10.30, didn’t arrive until 11.30pm only to receive a greasy stone cold mess.On the phone to them 3 times with the excuse, ‘it’s not me it’s the driver’. Very apologetic but other reviews tell the same story of driver blame. If the food came warm and decent I would have let this go.Will NEVER order from here again, utterly useless.
