Great place to have a breakfast. Friendly stuff and tasty food

This place is brilliant. I really love the vibe here, very relaxed. This is a very clean and tidy cafe with an emphasis on healthy options. I really enjoyed the ploughmams lunch. The ingredients used are clearly of a very high standard. If there was a downside then it would be that this place can get really busy, but that's proof of their high quality.

We only had a hot chocolate here but both were delicious and we are determined to come back for more goodies soon. The service was friendly and the ambience good. We look forward to our next visit and hope to see you there !

Very nice place, very busy on a Saturday morning but worth the wait. Excellent coffee and cakes and we'll probably go back to try their breakfast :)

I visited Rootz yesterday for lunch. There is a nice atmosphere and at the point of receiving your order at your table the customer service is very good. However during the 3 times I needed to approach the counter for help I was ignored for sometime. Coming from a hospitality background I understand how when busy you can become task focused but a simple acknowledgement of my existence would have been enough for me not to leave with a negative feeling.

Nice ambiance, nice food and not too busy. I enjoyed my ploughmans. Plentiful and well presented.. a little pricey at £7+. Always a good sign when the locals come an go. Lovely selection of icecream. Welcoming to children.

My go to for a weekend coffee and cake! Always a great coffee, lots of choice for other drinks and a great selection of cakes and sweet treats. Never had a cooked meal there but the plates always look amazing when they’re brought out for others! The staff are lovely and friendly as well. Highly recommend

The quality of the coffee and food was amazing! Definitely value for money with very generous portions. Staff are very accommodating. Lovely modern decor. Would highly recommend!

My partner lives nearby so we occasionally pop in to Rootz for a morning coffee or breakfast. Service is always really friendly and the lovely food is prepared to order. Their vegetarian breakfast makes a great start to the day, while my partner really likes the full English.They also have a nice selection of arts and crafts for sale. It can be a little busy on weekend mornings but you can usually find a table.Rootz is definitely a far nicer option than the branch of a certain large national franchise down the road.

Cozy small coffee shop, with delicious homemade cakes and the nicest coffee I had in a very long time. Recommended for all ages and at any time of the day. Loved it!
