Honestly, the best pub in miles! We are a family of 4 and the kids absolutely love the bouncy castle and multiple play area. There are a selection of sunny and shaded area outside. The food is delicious too (and the kids portions are just right)!

The food was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub is situated on Sarrat green a small country village and the boot is a fairly typical country pub. There is a fairly large car park to the rear of the pub. Best to book for a meal as it is quit popular.

Disappointed overall. Kids area is great, and lovely staff. But Sunday roast was a let down. Lamb shank was tasty and falling apart. But that was the highlight. Vegetables undercooked, stuffing was not good. "Roast" potatoes would be more accurately described as boiled then finished off in an oven. Ale options were limited, but cider was nice.Would try again but on another day to try the main menu. And in fairness its great for the kids in a lovely setting. Just a shame given the prices charged

We enjoyed a Saturday lunch as a party of 4 at the Boot, Sarratt, yesterday. The restaurant was very busy but we were made to feel relaxed straight away with lots of attention from the friendly and efficient staff- service was excellent and the food even better! Well deserved 5 stars for The Boot- we will be back!

The food was quite good, we all had Sunday roast- not perfect but the reason it’s 5 stars is the service…. Very rare to have really good service these days, especially in pubs. Very friendly, very attentive and excellent considering the place was packed for lunch.

The place was great and staff very accommodating. We were a fairly large group of friends and small kids, so staff were kept busy but were excellent. I had the pulled pork and black pudding croquettes which were OK but the Venison steak was sooo good 😋!! Dessert (apple crumble) was good but could have done with more custard.Kids had fun in the play area around the back of the pub/restaurant which kept them entertained which helped wipe them out for the journey home.Over was a good experience and I'd visit again if it was close to where I lived.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday roast. You can choose how you would like your beef. We wanted rare and that's exactly what we got. Everything was cooked to perfection. And the service was wonderful with water and treats for the dog! All served with a smile. Lovely cosy pub too.

Love this pub. Arrived late for lunch and they accommodated us. Friendly staff, fantastic food. Really good menu. I am doing Veganuary and was very well catered for as was my omnivore daughter. Will be back again.

We met at the boot 33 years ago and like to eat here so it made sense for The Boot to host our pearl wedding anniversary for 65 people. The service and attention to detail from Zoe and the team was incredible. The food and the amount provided was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone had an amazing time. if you are thinking of an event here highly recommend. :).

The Boot hosted our wedding at the end of June this year. We’ve always loved The Boot as place to eat or drink and were delighted they were able to accommodate us for our reception. From the moment we first enquired Zoe and her team were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble - and despite the ever changing guidelines for CV-19 we were always reassured that it would be the best it could be.We were given the freedom to decorate the terrace area to our taste popping up some decorations on the morning. The team set everything up for us and when we walked in we were overwhelmed with how perfect everything looked - with some great personal additions! So many of our guests commented on how good the team were, keeping drinks topped up and quick table service for other drinks! The food was fantastic and just what we wanted - again with plenty of positive comments for our guests. We looked at so many different types of venues and caterers for our big day and are both so happy that we decided to use our favourite pub! It was special to us before and even more so now!A big thank you to Zoe, Nick and the whole team!
