A lovely nature setting for this pub with river garden, we had booked lunch today (Mother's Day) here and it was a nice experience. There was a special set menu for the day, from which we chose our dishes. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced.Waiting staff was friendly and helpful.Nice interior decor, too. We'll return!

This pub is in a nice location, particularly on a sunny afternoon, and is popular. As a result, the prices are pretty high, especially for food, but I guess you accept this if visiting. However, I was not expecting the Sunday lunch that was recently served to me. I had ordered the lamb rack, one of the most expensive meals offered. However, the ‘rack of lamb’ that was served was frankly ridiculous. It was basically 4 extremely small lamb cops with hardly any meat on them. I wish I had taken a picture to show here. I rarely complain in a restaurant or pub, but I did raise this with the lady who appeared to be part of the management. She simply said this is how they came and nothing could be done. I do wish I had sent it back, but didn’t. My wife ended up giving me the leg from here roast chicken meal, so I had something to eat! So, in summary, this is a pleasant enough place and quite expensive. But if you are planning on visiting do NOT order the lamb rack as it is an absolute rip off. I will not be returning.

Roomy, good friendly service and nice food. Good range of draft beer. Nice toilets and furnishings. Music was annoying.

We really enjoyed the Sunday lunch yesterday, very well cooked and plenty of it. Some exciting desserts too! The team were so friendly and efficient. We took a large well behaved dog with us and he even got a doggie treat from them. I'm so pleased that the Coy Carp has been renovated and the food quality and service has been vastly improved. We're local so we'll be back!

Went to grab a drink the other night and really, no complaints. I cant vouch for the food as we didn't have any, However, don't be brought down by the overall rating. Staff was very pleasant and they have a good selection on tap and other drinks.

Lovely country pub, great location on the Grand Union canal. Warm welcome, good service, great menu and plenty of choice for adults and children alike. Freshly cooked meals, pizza was great although would have liked some kind of garnish with my Fish Finger wrap!

We have been looking forward to coming to Harefield and visiting the Coy Carp for weeks and weeks. We arrived here on our boats today and after buying four rounds of drinks, were fairly bluntly told to drink up at about half past ten "because it wasn't busy enough to justify the wages". The floor could have done with cleaning and the fire had died hours ago already but staff were just hanging around waiting for us to leave. Next time we'll just buy our own and sit on the boat.A shame because the chef, who I met in the afternoon, had already convinced me to try the sea bass, but now I won't bother.

Fantastic service Fantastic food and stunning scenery what more could you ask. I had roast beef and it was cooked to perfection, my wife had chicken pie and the pieces of chicken were massive and so tasty. My mother in law had the chicken schnitzel and even she enjoyed it so it must have been good the desserts were even better.
