The Kings Head in Three Rivers

Good pub but very expensive. Brown beer lovers will love this pub lager drinkers, well not so much. I have never understood how a pub can sell Fosters (tastes like washing up liquid), and Carlsburg (almost as bad), and yet not a Carling tap in sight. It's the nation's favourite for a reason.

We visited yesterday as a last minute place to get food due to the hotel not being great... So glad we did as the food was awesome!The pub itself is comfy, cosy and has a nice relaxed atmosphere.The staff were all very friendly & some of the locals that we had the opportunity to chat to were brilliant!We loved being in a proper pub so much that we were looking on Zoopla! Haha.Honestly, even if you are just driving by this place, pop in! You will not regret it.Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome & hopefully we will get to see you all again one day x

Friendly staff, good quality food and good portions. Slightly limited menu, but would happily go there again if we are in the area.

Lovely friendly staff, everyone in there was so welcoming and drinks were priced well.Halloween special so had a great night and the owner was lovely.

A great evening with the prospect of some live music coming up quite basic inside but the garden is huge! Fab staff and had fun dancing and partying with my friends

Great staff and a welcoming host set up the meal to be the most enjoyable amongst friends. One massive tomahawk steak, some sirloin, scampi and a pie kept the whole tribe happy. Gemma was a delight and she really helped making it a great evening.

Oh dear, what a shame! A formerly good pub, with a great garden & play area, has lost all its charm!The garden is poor, the food is worse, the service average & the rules for children, ridiculous!The nearby park is open, yet here, even a solitary child, must remain 'roped in'..crazy?!!We shall not return.

What a amazing little pub living in this hectic city me and my friend decided to do a nature walk and we stumbled across the Jewel. Staff and the locals are very friendly we felt like we walked into our local pub.Food was amazing thanks to the chef for going out of her way for our dietary needs.

A nice proper traditional local village pub!We stayed close to hear overnight before heading to the Harry Potter tour and wanted some where for a bite to eat.This traditional pub is supremely characteristic inside with an amazing inside balcony floor and wood beams everywhere.The bar man remembered our drinks after just one drink, a rare pleasure in the UK these days!The food was all home cooked and fresh, no a single item was a premade/microwave job! And all at an extremely reasonable price. We had 2 starters and 2 mains for a total of £32.
