If you are in the area of Croxley Green, I would recommend you pay a visit to the Kitchen cafe in Watford Road just around the corner from Croxley Green station. You will be assured of a warm welcome, the cosy atmosphere of a traditional tea shop and table service. They offer a wide range of sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks. I ordered a toasted sandwich and a banana milkshake and they were delicious.

I've had afternoon in many places, but The Kitchen Croxley is right up there with the best -maybe it's THE best. The food was delicious - sandwiches, cakes, the lot. Everything was clearly made with care. They have a great variety of teas, too. And the welcome was warm too. Heartily recommended if you're in the area. Even worth the journey if you're not. The tube is nearby and there's on-street parking. What more could you want?

Lovely little charming place... Similar to the Dolls house on Harrow on the Hill. My victorian sponge was fresh and mouth watering and so was my partners banana loaf and wide range of teas. of course, we met the famous Mrs Kitchen and her team, who were very welcoming, see you soon!

Just had a fantastic afternoon tea. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was second to none! Had to get a takeaway box as we were defeated by the amount we had. Thank you for a lovely, memorable afternoon.

Thank you to all the staff we had a lovely afternoon celebrating a friends birthday - superb sandwiches and cakes - so many we took some home with us - first time here and will definitely be back - they made a special birthday cupcake for my friend as well.

Fantastic afternoon tea in a cozy, lowkey cafe with friendly staff. We went for high tea and enjoyed bottomless Yorkshire brew with finger sandwiches. The pastries were delicious, the scones warm, the clotted cream thick, the jam sweet and tart. Our server was attentive. The place was quit in the late afternoon. A few customers popped in around 2 pm. It's a relaxed place with a mishmash of crockery, which is delightful.Reasonably priced. Kid friendly. Clean. The bathroom is through the kitchens, which allows you to see the innards of the place.
