Loads of different beers, friendly bar staff and they catered excellently for a party we had booked. Cracking pub.

Very homely pub, with a local vibe. We only booked on the day (Sunday) and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the roast dinner options. The portions were very generous and super tasty. If you are in a hurry, you will be disappointed. If however, you are after slow paced quality at a decent price, you will return. As will we.

Kindly gave us the whole restaurant from 3pm for a party of 70, a 92nd Birthday Celebration!! Food was Amazing, made the Day so Special 😋 Thank You - 5 ⭐

This place was terrible from start to finish. It has a welcoming warm feeling as you walk through the doors and sit down but expect to wait 2 hours for a roast dinner like we did! Starters took 50 minutes to come out as well. The chicken came out so dry there was so much left on my plate, very sparse on the roast potatoes we had 3 each. We booked on the 241 mains Sunday offer, after letting our waitress know of our long wait and half eaten dry dinners she told us we can get 2 meals off our bill, not thinking we realised it was 241 anyway. After pointing this out the waitress became really abrupt and rude asking if we just wanted to pay nothing. Wouldn’t come back here. Terrible customer service and rubbish food!

Pleasant pub experience. Food good and reasonably priced. Helpful staff who had a few problems with unavailable items which they dealt with well 🤔

·

Great pub. Went here Saturday just gone for lunch with the family. Food great, good atmosphere and the lady who served us was amazing, best service I have had in a long time. 100% will be coming back to this pub.

Nice open fire but it went out pretty quickly and I was not there to keep stoking the fire. Ordered Fish & Chips and it was truly disgusting. Batter was soggy, tasteless and the fish was not fresh. Definitely one for the locals as a couple of boozehags would not stop singing (really badly). I have had better meetings.

Great village location with public car park nearby and a few spaces outside. Garden is attractive and fine if you just want a drink. However service was slow, forgot my starter! Food was over priced and over cooked..

·

One of my local pubs. Food is very good, large selection of drinks. Lots of different gins to choose from. Food took quite a long time to arrive though but worth the wait. Steak night Thursdays and lots of themed evenings in normal times.

Nipped in for food before going to Harry Potter world. Cozy bar area, quite busy but made for a nice atmosphere. Both had roast dinner and portion sizes were big, but were offered to take left overs away. Staff were friendly and prices were very reasonable. Would recommended for anyone getting food before or after a day out!
