Lovely pub and location, staff friendly and hygiene very good. Food was good. Slightly disappointed with vegetarian options. The one vegan in our group had soup, but not given butter alternative. Seems very mean! Flora?!! Tiny tiny thing, but would have made a massive difference.London Pride was good here.Please make some tiny changes and it could be perfect for all......

Mum and I really enjoyed our lunch at the Green Man. We sat in lovely high back leather chairs next to an open fire. Super food , delicious coffee and excellent service . Cannot recommend highly enough - you have to try it 😉

Amazing from start to finish ! Kind attentive staff . Dave was our server , he attended to all our needs with a cheerful manner 😀. The food was delicious, Chris the chef makes the best hunters chicken my mum has ever tasted ! Lovely clean surroundings and a wonderful atmosphere created by the management. Food was good as always. Get a reservation for dinner if you want to sit in the front dining area.As usual, good for the kids.Updated 3 March 22Food was fantastic. Seems like they have stepped up a notch.

Great experience at this pub this evening, although not local we were welcomd & accommodated for an earlier reservation.They had a wide selection on the menu, lovely garlic sharing bread to start ! The trio of roasts was my other half's "best roast he's had in years" (minus the ones I cook obvs). Fish and chips were yum & same for the hunters chicken with sweet pot fries.This pub has a nice atmosphere, its cute & cosy with nice ambiance. Would recommend to anyone looking for nice food and service. Thank you

Booked a table for 18:30 to have a roast dinner. We don't normally have a roast dinner out but we will be coming here again. Great friendly and fast service and by far the best roast we have had at a restaurant. Could not fault any part of it. I had the trio of roasts and the meat was cooked to perfection and good portion sizes. Highly recommended.

We love coming here, always so welcoming and friendly, especially with our little one and the dog. Service from David and all the staff and the manager is always with a smile, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Thank you for looking after us.

5 of us visited yesterday afternoon for a late lunch. All the tables were set up with Christmas crackers to give a festive feel, and both the food and service were absolutely excellent. Not only was our server very friendly and attentive, but the manager was also fantastic and went out of his way to accommodate our dessert requests. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Ordered four roast dinners. All four were about the lowest quality we've ever experienced. The gravy (which was unlimited) smelled like an ashtray and tasted like burnt plastic. The roast potatoes were rock hard and the whole thing seemed like it had been reheated from yesterday's leftovers. Seriously disappointed as this was my sister's birthday.There were two other complaints about the food at the same time as us and another family left most of their food on the table.The management went some way to remedying the situation by not charging for the roast meals and replacing them with alternatives. The only reason this is 2 stars not 1.

A good site and the car park is big but bumpy! The building is lovely. As are the staff. Friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and hot.
