A very nice fish and chip restaurant. Good service. Fish and chips were really tasty..Lovely white haddock and the chips were lovely and freshly cooked. We ate in the restaurant will definitely go back to visit again.

Lovely chips..friendly staff but 40p for a sachet of sauce?

Had some fish and chips from barracuda restaurant I would like to say thank you to Kathy and Tassos for their welcoming service and great fish and chips definitely my local hang out. PS the tartar sauce is amazing!!!!

I just went to grab a bite to eat for my night shift, they thanked me for my service (I'm a carer) and offered to also give some food for my staff members who will be with me tonight (new-years eve and day).The gave me an absolute tonne of food. I'm on my way now and I'm certain my staff are going to love this.Thank you for your generosity. The last two years as a carer haven't been easy, but things like this greatly means a lot.Have a happy new year and it was a pleasure to meet you all.

Absolutely wonderful fish and chips great service but the real star of the show was the squid 🦑 probably the best I’ve tasted in this country a chef who knows how a squid should be prepared 👌

I dislike having to write a negative review but I feel I must warn other customers.I've been here before with family and the food was always exceptional although service a little ropey (lots of items not available, using lockdown as the excuse even now, abrupt about closing time etc). Today however took service to new lows.I was offered a "lunchtime special" with tea for £9.50 - directed to it in the menu by the waiter, as an alternative to standard fish and chips for £12.50. Sounded like a good deal but when the dish came I was disappointed to see the size of it (pictured, after one bite from corner). The fish was not the standard portion, shorter and also thin, basically not a whole piece of cod, probably about 50% of the normal cod they give. After taking one bite, I knew I would not be satisfied and so found a staff (who turned out to be chef) to ask if I could have another piece of cod (which I was totally prepared to pay for). Instead this chef asked me, in accusatory way, didn't I think it was a good offer. I said, frankly, no I didn't. Then he launched into a tirade about my being rude and uncivilised. I was genuinely shocked and went back to finish my insubstantial meal.At this point the waiter returned and as I was trying to explain to him what my disatisfaction was about - basically, I felt that the size of the portion should have been explained to me (not that it was up to me to check) and that I was prepared to pay for a bigger fish. Then the chef came into the seating area to interrupt us with an extremely loud voice and basically ordered me out of the restaurant (after I had paid).After having my repeat requests for the manager's name refused, I did leave and felt very close to being manhandled by the chef, who became agressive and abusive (which I recorded). They were so unprofessional they starting making false allegations about my family when we visited before and refused to confirm the manager's name. They all closed ranks and said I was never welcome to return.Of course, I don't ever wish to return after this experience but feel I must at least take it up with the manager and share my deeply unpleasant experience with others here.

Great fish and chips .price was ok .drove past every day .took my wife it for nice fish and chips would recommend .service was good

Well cooked fish by and chips. The batter was nice and crispy and not greasy. The fish was very fresh and flaked perfectly. Chips were amazing as well and not squashed up. Picked up and drove home and it had kept its taste and freshness. Best chippy I've had in a while.

Fantastic cod and chips. I'm a bit of a fussy eater (hate coming across bones in my fish), I can gladly say that there were no bones and it were cooked to perfection with fantastic seasoning.I'd definitely eat here again.
