Fish N Chick'n in Thurrock

Just got small chips and 2 buttered rolls at a cost of £4.75 2pm in afternoon lukewarm chips soggy as hell and looks like the oil hasnt been changed for weeks would not recomend to anyone.It used to be great but now waste of money

Nearly the whole portion of chips had lots of dirty gritty skin left on them, lots of black rotten potato also. My sausage in batter was not in batter. The batter was so thin and over cooked or a very old one I might aswell of had a plain sausage. Not happy as its very dear in there. would give no stars but not an option 😡

Food is always nice, decent portions, getting a bit expensive though.

Went here for the first time today. Never again. There was a "new" fish on the menu called Saithe. I asked what it was, but the assistant didn't know and called another lady over. She told me that it was just a cheaper version of Cod. I asked her if it was like Pollock, but she just laughed and said "what's Pollock". It is, in fact, the same thing. But as I wasn't sure I ordered two regular cod and chips. It was OK, but the chips were undercooked and lukewarm. The batter was soggy. Not impressed at all. Also, how can you sell a product and have no idea what it is?

Sorry but this take away failed.We ordered online, collected our order only to find half the order was missing, we went back and found they had only given us one of two carrier bags, by the time we eventually got home everything had cooled down, so the food was pretty poor.The annoying thing is that this is the second time this has happened to me on 2 visits.I'm not too keen on using this chip shop in the future.

Ok so it was around 9pm, maybe closing time approaching, but no reason for serving cold RUBBISH chips to customers!!!! 4 large portions ended up in the bin!

So everytime I've asked for a large portion of chips I've got a regular! The last time I'll be going here now for a while! Very unhappy and been left very hungry and very disappointed

Fish was lukewarm and chips weren't cooked properly. Even chips were soggy without the vinegar. This shop used to be okay.

Went to this fish and chip 25/1/2022 bought two medium cod and chips 1 senior dinner £24.95 fish was dry and inedible on the senior dinner the other two cod were dry very thin fish batter on batter in some places and chips were cold complete waste of money never ever go back there it was disgusting x
