Golden Sands in Thurrock

Ordered through Uber eats several times, always takes a few hours, the food tends to be on the colder side on arrival. Just ordered a takeaway tonight only for it to be cancelled without any reason after waiting over an hour for the food to be delivered. Will not be ordering again.

Our food arrived on time, I wish It didn't arrive at all.All of our dishes were Stone cold the chips I ordered looked like they were from a few days ago all dry and shriveled with green chips too, to me this is not acceptableThis was an order for £56.Nothing was actually edable unless I was willing to warm it up again which I Was not happy to do as it all looked old.We are a family with children I will NOT risk it.I called the restaurant which I was spoke to very rudely.The lady on the phone argued with a member of staff in a different language so I'm couldn't understand thenm she offered me a 10% discount on my food and was very ride yet again when I said that's not acceptable.DO NOT USE ORDER FROM HERE.

Made a huge order for 30 people tonight, and food was delivered on time, food was piping hot, every member of the party praised the food (this is rare coming from a Chinese family).Received a nice discount ordering on their website and the lady owner even called up to clarify a few things and gave us a bottle of drink on the house.Highly recommend this Take Away.

Order was over 2 hours late over the original 1 hour to deliver. If you can't cope with the demand don't accept the orders.

Yesterday I ordered food, and half an hour after the meal I feel terrible vomiting etc, let me add that I am pregnant. When I called today asking to speak to the manager, the woman who answered said that he is not here now, when I explained how i felt and that it was dangerous because I am pregnant, the woman laughed ... Please avoid this place is very dangerous!

Raw chicken in my food order, this place is dangerous.Update, i am so concerned with the food this place serves up i have made a complaint to the FSA & have samples of the food from my order that they will inspect.This place should be closed down.

We really enjoy the food for here with the taste and quality being consistent almost every time. If you order by phone and do a collection it is one of the best value Chinese restaurants in the area.The staff are always friendly and orders are prepared quicker than I could have expected. Of course during peak hours the preparation time is a bit longer.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!After several times of me telling them my Address, I had to call up after an hour to see where my food has gone. Turns out it was already been paid for by a different family.In the end I had to collect it, on the way to collect it I recieved a phone call from the driver telling me that it was paid for by "my son" (I live on my own with no children) to which I replied that I live on my own and I don't have a son.When I got to the shop the receptionists .adele me Write down my Actual Address (bearing in mind I had already told her over the phone) in the receipt that was paid for by the different family, and said make sure you say the right address next time! Honestly I will not be ordering from here again rude staff and no consideration for others.

I ordered £35 worth of food to be delivered, waited around 45 minutes only to check on the app that the order had been cancelled, they didn't even bother to call and say we was out of their delivery range yet they'll deliver to places further away than us? Just don't make sense, they will deliver to Basildon and Pitsea but not Chadwell St Mary which is closer than both of those! I even offered to give an extra £5 for fuel 😂 still was not having it, dont even warrant 1 star ya muppets
