Happy Garden in Thurrock

Food is good quality, pricing is fair but the shop is always very busy so be prepared for unanswered phone calls should you phone in and order, better to visit the shop.

The women at the desk is disgustingly rude wanted to change something on our order before they started cooking and she didn't say anything just rolled her eyes ans starting shouting out the back there wasn't even a hello!!!And the chips wasn't even cooked properlyThe miserable garden is a better fit!Not happy

Absolutely disgraceful service from this restaurant food never arrived no response to multiple request for an update, absolutely unacceptable avoid ordering from here at all costs, terrible!!!

Waited over 1and half hours when I received my order it was unedible as it was cold.Phoned up to complain who ever answered was not interested and put the phone down on me.

We've had problems when we use to order from happy garden, they sent the wrong thing then wouldnt answer the phone and have also been unwell from there more than once. One of the worst chinese and very rude, terrible customer service. Ming long may be a little more price wise but so worth the money, food is lovely and staff very friendly.

They’re very rude, got my order wrong asked to speak with the manager as I couldn’t imagine why the person I was speaking with was very rude, however it turned out I was speaking to the manager unfortunately. She even hung up on me before I finished speaking with her.

Not Essex, Not England, not the UK….. BUT THE BEST BEEF CHOW MEIN IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are superbly talented in making the most flavoursome, tastiest and FRESHEST food ever! We absolutely LOVE the food here and the service is phenomenal! Seriously need an award in our neighbourhood for the TOP Chinese!! THANK YOU for looking after your customers through impeccable and incredibly delicious food and Service! A shame I can only give 5 ⭐️ ++++

Very tasty and cheap. Staff very unhelpful and abrupt, no please or thank you. Great portion size. Have used several times when I am staying in local hotel. Don’t be put off by appearance or staff, best food in England.

This has become our go to favourite Chinese. Very professional and friendly staff. Food is always fresh and delicious. Have ordered from them couple of times. Beats other Chinese we've tried. Thank you. Keep it up.

I've lived in Aveley for 4 years and tried so many Chinese restaurants and found them all over priced and bland. I've never tried Happy Garden because they're not on just eat (but should be) but my boyfriend picked up food from there on Monday and I'm never going anywhere else now.....the food was lovely, tasty and fresh....reminded me of old school proper Chinese! Plus they were extremely reasonable in price. Would highly recommend and they've not paid me to write this review!!
