Kong's Restaurant in Thurrock

Nice food but it was almost empty when we went there so lacked atmosphere.

The world provides a cruel mistress tonight. She came dressed in a dark black cloak of shame...flowing through the windy forest. She came forth and was about to expose her gems but snatchhed them away wistfully as she disappeared into the foggy abyss. The cold air left myself my peers alone...hungry and in need of a new direction. Longily...we travelled off with a dense sense if negative energy drawing our chakras...our aura once glowing bright now a mere dull flicker..Basically they didn't answer the phone after 93 attempts. Gutted mate

Wicked restaurant. Very pleasant environment.

Food was good as usual but service was poor. No offer of extra drinks or dessert. They wanted us out. If you want people out by 9.30 don't offer only 5pm or 8pm sittings!!

I'm not exaggerating, this was the best Chinese I've ever had, delicious food, fantastic service and great presentation. I'll be back soon!! 10/10

I've just moved into my first home with my partner and decided on our first night to get a Chinese takeaway. Well wow! It was the best Chinese we've ever had and that's saying something. Egg fried and special fried rice bang on! Chicken curry just the right amount of spice, chicken balls amazing, and the chips are the chunky chips 😋 the sweet and sour was great too. We were glad we could pay by card only downside was collection only but glad to go for such nice food. Thanks Kong's we will be eating from you again soon!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. Individual dishes are expensive but the set menu is reasonable and very generous. Take out is the same excellent quality food at normal take away prices. Highly recommended. 😉👌

The best local Chinese restaurant for take away services.The food is amazing, exceptional flavours.Great customer services.We came from Basildon to try the food, as recommended by their cousin.It was worth the drive.There is no other place to eat from in Essex except here.
