Really great venue for a party on Saturday evening, then was back for a phenomenal Carvery on Sunday! Highly recommended!

Played here a few times, staff are brilliant, course staff are doing a great job, greens are slick and the balance of fairways, rough and heavy rough is fair.

Played Langdon/Budolph course, what a pretty and well maintained course! Looks easy but with testing greens you will be pleased with par/bogey and delighted with birdie.Good facilities manned by very friendly and personable staff. Well done. Random pic of goose guarding 14th green.

The setting is beautiful. Large grounds, big enough that the car park was mostly full but still only saw about 3 people! quiet, peaceful, plenty of parking. Breakfast was great. Only downside was that the rooms were a bit dated. Well quite a bit dated. They were clean and comfortable but could definitely do with some upgrading. Would also be handy to have a water fountain or vending machine in the lobby where the rooms are as we stayed there after a wedding and everyone was quite dehydrated and there was no where to get water that late.

First time trying the carvery here and it was very good, good choice of starters and desserts and the actual carvery was very very good, plenty of everything, and it was hot and all freshly cooked, we will definitely be back.

I interrupted politely to ask for a drink as I was already playing and finished 9 holes after abrupt reply which was rudeI walked out side and teed off from the Hordon two members in the queue walked out to the fairway and shot a golf ball at me just missing me and my friend Clearly aimed at usReading other comments below I’m not the first to have had a problem with a member at this courseAnd in any case to not even say anything to me and to go out of your way and hit a golf ball at me very childish from a team captain who was parked in the captain space in the car park!

Have played this course many times. On this occasion the greens had just been treated so had potholes and lots of sand which made putting a bit of a lottery. Other then that the course was in good condition , but as this course is relative expensive when compared to others in the area perhaps rates should have been reduced for the greens condition.

First visit and wasn’t disappointed, booked for my mums 80th birthday. Staff very helpful and friendly. Carvery was fresh, displayed well and clean. Definitely book again

We had a great Sunday carvery here. Thank you so much to Wendy (catering/events manager) and her team for looking after us so well, it was VERY MUCH appreciated by us.

Today's roast dinner was ok (even though I'm not a fan of roast dinners - it was my sister in law's birthday meal). However, in these (admittedly post vaccination) Covid times I felt very uneasy about the setup today. Diners were shoehorned in, there was no apparent ventilation (it became very stuffy in the restaurant), no masks and worst of all was the snake of diners queuing for their roast dinners. The queue wound between the tables at very close quarters with no distancing, masks or any input from staff. There were shared utensils for vegetables and gravy (these really ought to have been dished up by a member of staff). The whole setup seemed to ignore the advice we've been given during the past two years. On another note, how about an option for those non-vegetarians who don't particularly like roast dinners? I'll probably visit again one day but only when the covid threat has dramatically reduced.
