Las Iguanas - Lakeside in Thurrock

Really good service by the waitresses and bartender as I had a fussy taste they helped me out which I'm thankful for. The food was amazing too

Definitely won't be visiting again. The service was good. The food, however, left a lot to be desired. We were seated at a table and then handed an A4 piece of paper listing all of the menu items that were unavailable. The food that we then did order wasn't good. The chicken was dry and clearly pre-cooked and reheated. The chips were undercooked. The pork was also very dry and chewy.There are many other options close by in lakeside and I visit often, I won't be coming back to Las Iguanas unfortunately.

All time favorite dine in restaurant. Amazing lake view. Love the drinks offer. Food is delicious and Service is pretty quick.

Las Iguanas is a lovely place to eat, brightly decorated with a varied and interesting menu. The food and drink at the Lakeside branch is always well cooked, tasty and as described on the menu however, I have never known a place to so consistently be unable to deliver all the items on the menu, both food and drink (often missing Cachaça which is a key ingredient to a number of their cocktails and highlighted on their menu).The staff are friendly and I don't think it is overpriced (currently running a happy hour promotion on cocktails all day ever day... not sure that can still be called a happy hour).Overall good food and drink, a nice environment and staff but in my opinion more effort needs to be made to deliver on their menu.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience, the food was 💯 and the service was spot on, we will definitely be back.

Lovely meal tonight. Service was initially a little slow. But once seated the staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly - I assume mostly because there were only a handful of tables. Either way, the food was tasty and had good options for vegetarians. Would recommend the veggie chilli!

Absolutely gorgeous place to visit in a lovely location, right on the lake with a stunning view. Tables outside as well as in, with a great décor, vast capacity and lovely design. The staff are really nice and accommodating with all the little requests we had (eg birthday). The food was outstanding and of high quality. I would totally recommend this place to everyone for group gatherings, family and definitely for children too.

Food is fine but nothing special Service is quite fast Sitting close by the door very cold and uncomfortable for even short time

It would have been a higher score if all the meals,drinks & puddings we wanted were available! The state of the ladies toilets was disgusting dirty,smelly and generally foul! The food we did order that was available was nice apart from a few bits of not so good chicken in my Bahain Coconut Chicken and my daughter would have liked more wraps in her chicken stack.

If I could give 0 stars I would.Not sure where to begin tbh......ok so here goes, kids menu was a lil sparse ! Many items crossed off and not in stock. According to the kids menu you can order a adult meal as a substitute and they will do it as a kids portion ! That was a lie, even though it is clearly marked on the menu(for kids).The chicken in the dishes I ordered tasted like day old chicken, not that fresh taste, almost like it had been cooked left in the fridge then zapped in the good old microwave and then served up.I guess it's my own fault for going to this place as if I wanted a proper chicken experience I should of gone to ???? Say it with me it begins with N lol.Ok moving on to the tortilla chips dish, now I'm not quite sure how you can get this wrong but yh u guessed it, they did, tortilla chips were soft and in parts stale, no crunch to them.Oh and the calamari was extremely oily.On a plus the atmosphere was good, defo recommend going to this place if you want to chill and have a drink, food on the other hand is questionable.
