Rice tasted chemically, lemon chicken! Just small balls of batter in a lemon sauce. Sweet and sour pork, small balls of batter in a sauce, curry tasteless and powdery, all I'm the bin with menu

Very poor, gone down hill since new owners. Never went anywhere else use to love the food from them but never again.

Been a customer for thirty odd years now and know this family very well.There good hard working people that serve the best takeaway Chinese in all of Essex.Kev you are outstanding ,as for your wife and children they are so down to earth ! Try this place people ,you will be amazed at the service and food is exceptional.

The food is not greasy and a good size. The only downside personally is that food is not seasoned that well and taste bland compared to other Chinese. Also the menu is smaller. Good service and staff are polite. If they flavoured their food a bit better then it would certainly be one of the best around

Tried for the first time today and will definitely use this chinese every time. Really delicious food. Ordered quite a few dishes for the whole family and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything. Won't go anywhere else from now on. Thank you lotus house.

First time order this was one of the best Chinese meals I had. The food was tasty not greasy and good value. Looking forward to my next order.

Well just had a very lovely dinner from Lotus House.It's the first time I have ever used them.The food was lovely and was delivered in just 20mins.

This Chinese has been involved in my since 1993 the food has all ways all ways been spot on can't fault this place good people good food good service!!!Don't let a few silly reviews spoil this place for you as they won't let you down! I now live in basildon and still travel Every time I want a Chinese!

I never post reviews for places but I think my experience warrants one.I’m 9 months pregnant and for the last 9 months this Chinese has catered for every single craving I’ve had. The food is great.They will change everything from sauces to extra ingredients without hesitation to make crazy woman tastebuds happy! . The price isn’t bad and it’s delivered on time, every time.Today I ordered plain chicken with onion and peppers and it was beautiful. He also spent a good few minutes on the phone with me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.Thanks :)

Just moved to the area and having tried a couple I think this is the best by far. Polite staff, friendly, and the food is all cooked fresh and is piping hot. Everything we’ve had has been lovely. Some places there are a few dishes to avoid but not here (so far, so good). Highly recommended...Would be 5 stars if it were easier to get through on the phone. We are local so always just walk down and order but would be better if we could phone order through or better still order online.
