We were visiting as a four ball on the way back from a golf weekend. The course is interesting, some nice holes but a few blind holes making it a little tricky if you have never played the course before. The greens were in good condition and generally the course was nice to play making it reasonably good value for money.A few negatives:The member of staff on reception needed a course in customer service and also to hold some pencils to score in case anyone requires one.Bins on tees. I never thought this would be part of making a good course but it can get pretty annoying having to carry a banana skin for a few holes. The driving range could be a little more like a driving range and less like a field.Apart from that, a good course.

Superb course. Incredible people. Greens and tees. Would always recommend!

Played there yesterday. Greens were the best part of the course. Seen less dandelions at the Chelsea Flower Show. Fairways not great and no first cut before rough in any way. Condition of the course was very poor indeed. Would I go there again ? I won't rush back if that helps you understand my opinion (and thats with me coming second).

Excellent condition, tricky greens and a few unforgiving holes.Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon.

Nice course, friendly club house with good food. Course is good, some challenging holes. It's a well kept course and the greens are fast and in good condition.

Played at Mardyke Valley recently and was very surprised by the condition of the course. We had lots of rain in the days leading up to playing and yet it was fairly dry.Greens rolled well although not the fastest.Breakfast was good as was the coffee.Good selection of drinks in the bar also.Definately worth a visit.👍

This is generally a nice course with good greens. However the rough and 1st cut have been left to grow to the point where any stray shot will be a lost ball or impossible shot if found. Appreciate the aim is to hit the fairway but as weekend golfers invariably we don't so why make it harder and slow the round down. With a trim would be a great course and would recommend and good layout.
