Pizza Express in Thurrock

I gave them a star as we ordered through Deliveroo and after 1,5 hour they called and said their kitchen can’t deal anymore with orders. Calling to say they have to cancel when it was almost time to be delivered, really?!? If you know you can’t deal, why you keep taking orders, update apps, update on Deliveroo, and most IMPORTANT let the clients know so that they can order from another place, but now when it’s 20:30 you giving me these “news”. Sadly, very bad that all of us were hungry, ESPECIALLY KIDS waiting for the pizza, and got asleep by the time we ordered from a different place. :( 👎🏻

We had a very polite waitress serve us.. the pizzas we ordered was fine .But the plates where cold meaning the food was cold before we finished eating .

Visited lunchtime & food was epic & staff were lovely,treated me so good for my birthday,never disappointed when we eat here,Markie & all the staff are great,well done chef 10/10

Sadly, we had to send food back because of the lack of toppings. When spending £15 for a small pizza I do expect a little more. The staff were polite and friendly but perhaps require a little quality control

A lovely and relaxing place to go when you want something delicious. The service was extremely helpful and quick as they came with the pizza within minutes which was totally surpirising because in other restaurants i have to wait hours just for the starters! Therefore, that was amazing! They also gave me recommendations which also helped because im a very picky eater. The food was exquisite and perfectly cooked, not burned nor under cooked, it was just right . The flavours melted in my mouth, i actually think my stomach was in love. Another thing i have to mention are the lights, they were set dim which made the aesthetic relaxing and tranquil. I thought that was really cool. Overall everything was magnificent. I personally think this wonderful restaurant is underrated.

Staff were friendly but maybe a bit rushed quite busy at 14:00 on Sunday. The new Melanzane dish is rubbish, tomato sauce and slimy aubergine; £13.25 with no Pasta or other carb. Terrible value for money.

Utterly disappointed. I ordered from here for delivery. Spent £15 For the most poorly presented meal which didnt even fill a third of the container. I would never have been served such a small portion in there restaurant. I cannot believe someone sent this out to me.

We had a lovely lunch here, the food was fast and delicious and the staff were friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble!

One of the most brand consistent restaurants out there. The quality from establishment to establishment is fantastic and the staff reinforce that too. Always an excellent meal.
