We have been to the Fox several times now. Consistent simple and good home cooked food , great ales , staff friendly and attentive. Even make our dog , Marvel , feel at home. Recommend this traditional local pub. Thank you.

Decor's somewhat tired. It was a bit 'American Werewolf in London' when we walked in but prices reasonable and comfortable enough

Went for lunch with friends, enjoyable. Nice food. Reasonably priced.

Nicely laid out garden with plenty of picnic tables. Credit due to the owners for getting the place ready for customers. Very busy though, took nearly half an hour to get a drink.

This is the best pub around for a friendly atmosphere. Staff are great, the landlady is so reasonable and tries to cater for every possible punter. They have regular events that are for everyone. If you want a quiet drink or a lively night you can always rely on the staff to try their best to make sure you have a great night. At the end of the day it is still a pub so don’t expect an old people’s home that’s silent when you come in. Come and find out for your self !!
