We hired a conference room at the hotel and some of our delegates stayed their. The staff where proffessional and helpful at every turn.

Nothing at all wrong with basic especially as our room, while 'basic', was extremely clean and spacious with extra towels and pillows. Was at the hotel for a wedding. Great venue and such attentive, friendly and happy staff! Must give a shout out for Daniel who had to be one of the most charming and helpful waiters I have ever met! Despite a late night, he was serving breakfast with a smile and a cheery word and remembered my name which was a nice touch. Excellent catering for the wedding breakfast- the meal was delicious and the wines very good. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and I liked how we weren't made to feel rushed even though a group of us were lingering round the table long after we had finished eating. Really good value for money for our overnight stay. Very comfortable bed. Must also add that seeing the staff dancing during the evening party was lovely! Great moves! Well done, Great Western! All boxes ticked! Thank you!

I came here for a work conference, I did not stay so only had the conference room and toilet to go on really but was tired, definitely needs to have a bit of tlc/overallNo doubt I will be here again with the meeting

Convenient place a night stop. A bit too noisy for me (neighbours rooms, ventilation system and motorway sounds are sleep disturbing).

This hotel has no lift. We were on the third floor. Hotel was OK, it's just that my 76 year old mum didn't appreciate all the stairs. We got a good deal price wise and I would stay again but request ground floor.

It's been a while since I stayed here. Disappointed they charge for parking. Floor boards creak nearly everywhere on 2nd floor. Room was clean with a little bit of space left for wildlife, both Silverfish and a spider in bathroom. Food was excellent. The ordering app needs a redesign as it's hard to use with a poor colour scheme. Staff friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel ,good staff very friendly, But not suitable for disable peole no lifts but plenty of stairs. We hired a hall very nice size one, also with the hall we got our own toilets, and a cloak room also .but no toilets for disable people. It would nice if we was told the hotel doesn't cater for disable people.

Booked a family Room, turned up to a receptionist who has absolutely no people skills what so ever, anyway we were tired and bypassed this slightly annoying attitude we received. Went up to the room which was up 5 flights of stairs to walk into a bedroom with 3 single beds, I promptly phoned reception enquiring why we had this instead of a double bed and a single, to then be called a liar down the phone and repeatedly told we do not have 3 singles in a room. Rather annoyed I asked him to come up to my room to see with his own eyes what the 3 of us were seeing. Even after all of this he made us push our own beds together to make a double,we had no signs of an apology which was probably the biggest thing in my eyes

Cheap night, and well worth the price. Don't go expecting 5* and everything perfect, but it's great if you just need a room for the night. The reviews that say the floorboards are creaky are correct, they're really loud, but never bothered me as few people walked by. Staff were really friendly, and the really cute Asian guy on the night shift was super helpful when I got back after 12am. Bed was far too soft, not to my personal taste, but that was the only downside, and it wasn't a big deal at all. If I could get the same cheap price, I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area

Our executive room was far from this. We only had 1 towel in the room and had to request more. Receptionist was lovely however had to call a mobile to contact them and to check in as not on reception full time "due to covid??" We tried calling the reception using the phone in our room however this was dead (it was plugged in) so again, had to use my mobile to call the reception mobile. We had to go and find staff to get a drink from the bar (on a Saturday night) and overall thought the price of the room did not reflect the service provided.
