Nice pub with outside area and nice food

Stunning pub. Managed to get a cancellation slot on Mothers Day last minute. Wonderfully attentive staff. Roast dinner was scrumptious. Many thanks!!

Below average food. One of our dished came out in under three minutes so not sure how long it was sat there. Burgers very dry and flavourless. Good service, shocking food.

Had a great meal here with a friend. It was quite busy but it didn't seem to put a lengthy wait on being served or anything. A good drinks choice which included a few local 'ish' breweries. Food was very nice, couldn't fault it. Will visit again as there was plenty on the menu that looked good.Parking out back of pub, and when we left I noticed they have a big marquee set up for table covers (bit cold at the moment though!)I would recommend...!

Always get a lovely meal, with great friendly service, from this smashing pub. A favourite destination whenever I visit Dunmow. And look at that roast!

Really nice pub/restaurantand discovered it was owned by the same company as the White Hart at Lt Waltham, where I've been a few times with friends. Nice service and great food. Very busy so obviously very popular.Probably wont go again as it's a bit too far out from where I live.

Nice place. Tables a bit close together. My roast dinner was spoiled because the turkey and Yorkshire pudding were cold and there were not enough vegetables. Glad it was 2 for 1 as it would not have been worth the full price! Hope to return for a better experience at some point, probably after Christmas.

Enjoyable pre-Xmas lunch, and good value. I especially enjoyed the turkey main with excellent roast potatoes. Would definitely go again. Friendly welcome and stylish surroundings

We went for the quiz night as we haven't been to Dunmow where our friend lives so it was a lovely change. The pub was lovely great atmosphere, food tasted amazing the quiz was really good and funny. The service for food and drink wasn't the greatest we had to ask a few times for our drinks, ketchup and the bill. But overall it was a lovely night out and we will come again to do the quiz as the lady and men were really fun.

I proposed to my wife at the Angel and Harp nearly 3 years ago and we went back there to celebrate our 1st anniversary. The atmosphere was beautiful and buzzing full of happy people enjoying themselves. The staff worked hard and were ever so friendly and the food was served quickly and was delicious. A fabulous place to eat drink and socialise.
