Bosphorus in Uttlesford

Ordered a few items from them was told 45 minutes understandable with the time scale much to my surprise a knock at the door 5 minutes later wash shocked to see out delivered made a joke about how quickly it arrived quote from driver not bissy anyway paid and gave a tip for speedy delivery that's we're it all went down hill food was cold part off order not there kebab was dry and disgusting not even the dogs would eat it sorry stay safely away from this place and after calling them got no we're if there place is anything like there food it not fit for humans consumption not even our dogs would eat it 😢

They say the deliver to your area when they DON’T then they immediately cancel the order, take the money from your card (surprise surprise!) when they call you they say it’s just eats problem. I have been chasing just eat for refund for 3 months. Stay away!

If you are lucky enough to get your dinner (delivery was cancelled an hour after we ordered), it might give you food poisoning. Havent had a good meal from them sadly. Never ordering from them again.

Order turned up soon as I got in from work perfect timing doner kebab burger is filling and spot on delivery drivers always friendly with a smile the wraps are top absolute banging well done guys

Ordered a mixed kebab , possibly the worst kebab I have ever ordered. Doner meat was completely tasteless , the shish was as tough and chewy as my leather boots and everything else was dripping in fat. Will never eat there again.

Very poor where do I start well asked to be delivered about 20:00 but was delivered at 5 past seven when mentioned to person on phone answers straight back to me I’m the delivery driver and we don’t do timed slots. Went to collect it from reception where delivery driver was waiting he didn’t say much other than grunted to acknowledge to me saying thanks so got to hotel room to eat only to find every component of the kebab was separated so I had to build it myself which is a pet hate if I wanted to build it myself I might of just made it from scratch at home at best food was average my advice is steer clear

We have been using this place for well over a year and has always been ok. The last order we placed wasnt very nice. The chips were just burnt and Crispy and the doner meat was hard and chewy. We gave the benefit of doubt and thought maybe just a bad evening, to then recieve another meal exactly the same and the chicken so over cooked it was dry, not edible. Very dispointed because dont know whats gone wrong, maybe new chef which clearly needs sacking

Not impressed the last few orders I’ve got from there. It’s either the order is incorrect or missing stuff, and when I ring up to question what’s happened they ask me if they can give it to me next time I order.. that shouldn’t even be a suggestion if the thing I’ve ordered is wrong or isn’t even there.Nice food. There ‘large’ portion of chips is more like small.Ordered a chicken wrap, to get sent a chicken shish wrap (not what I ordered)! After ringing 1 hour later I was sent what I ordered originally, to realise how burnt and crispy the wrap was. The chicken was dry. It was just a horrible dinner. I will not be ordering from this place again.

That is the last time we will be ordering from here, I could deal with the hour and a half waits for food when they're busy and the missed drink off of orders which is usually because the delivery driver has forgotten. But this time was a complete joke. Food was late as usual, arrived luke warm, the paper bag had disintegrated where it was so wet. The chicken burger was soggy and so wet it fell apart and the bread was like a mushy sponge, completely inedible. The same with the chicken wrap, the paper was wet from each side of the wrap, the paper had then stuck on to the wrap and had to be removed off the paper, the wrap was also mushy and soggy, there is no way anyone would eat that. The hummus (which is usually nice) had no flavour, no taste whatsoever. The pitta bread that was wrapped in paper was also wet and inedible. The manager would not refund the total amount and even drove to the house to inspect the food after I had called just eat. Earlier on the phone he said he was not picking the food up as they were busy, hence why I checked the food and the packaging in the outside bins. The manager yhen arrived late at night to the house to argue some more, so I took him to the bins and showed him exactly what was wrong with the food and the packaging and he still says there was no issue other than condensation. It was a whole lot worse than just condensation, I took the photos to prove it. Poor customer service.

NEVER USE BOSPHOUS KEBABS!!We have used them for 3 and a half years since moving to Dunmow.Their food has always been good and we have had the odd occasion of a miss drink here and there..But tonight has been a while new level! After getting the order completely wrong I called to let them know only to be passed to what I assume was the owner and receive abuse!!He didn’t listen to what I was saying, told me they are busy and they tried to confirm what I ordered back in broken English.. it got so bad a young girl came in the phone to try and sort it out.Never have I had someone in business talk to a customer like that!Rude, shouting and nasty. The fact the girl had to apologise for her employer speaks volumes and I feel sorry for her having to work there as she tried her best to sort it.If your busy it’s a good thing! But honestly you’ve lost a customer that used you almost every other week!Poor employees having to sort your hot tempered head out! I hope they get a good wage!!
