I visited with my partner before a flight and it was one of the best Chinese meals we have ever had. The food came quickly, tasted amazing and the service was great. The restaurant is lovely. Unfortunately we don’t live close otherwise we would be visiting regularly .. they even made us dishes that are not on the menu as we requested them! Thank you and we will now book all of our flights from Stansted in the future so that we can return!!🤣

Great service. Great food. Easily the best Chinese in this area. Many thanks.

Really really delicious food, however, the dishes other than the noodles were very small. This is not acceptable, its a shame great taste otherwise.

Great layout and doubtless authentic Chinese, nice staff, swift service well presented.Sadly however, let down big time by miserable size portions and overpriced in the extreme.Due to poor quantity of food picked up a superb takeaway from Lams across the road at a fraction of the price and equally as tasty if not better! However, having said that if you are into Weight-watchers then this is the place to dine, you’ll never put on weight after eating here.😂Not my cup of noodles at all so won’t be returning any time soon!

Amazing food, slightly smaller portions but I don’t mind when the food is top quality. Crimson8 Noodles and the duck are the best. Fast delivery too I was updated about my order which was great.

Expensive, extremely small portions, soggy prawn balls tasting like banana fritters, soggy crispy chilli beef , beef curry just tastes like spice doesn't even taste like curry, only thing that escaped was egg fried rice and crispy salt and pepper squid. Its unreal ... I live in little canfield and the ones from dunmow are exactly the same as yours in stansted. If I order any Chinese from braintree when I go around my sisters they're all good. What a shame and waste of money. Sorry but it's not all about the restaurant decorations it's about food quality.

We ordered from Crimson 8 for the first time this evening. The food was sent out very quickly.Unfortunately, when the food arrived our crispy Thai prawns had been thrown in with the bbq ribs and were soggy, despite them being two completely separate dishes? This ruined my prawns as I do not eat pork and or bbq sauce. The noodles were the consistency of a 'pot noodle' and were swimming in a broth. We had a very very small complimentary bag of prawn crackers and the 2 person sharer starter was tiny. Yet we paid a small fortune.Sadly, we then discovered the curry sauce was extremely oily. The sauce had partitioned into a layer of oil and sauce and was very unappetising. We actually requested a refund and for the food to be collected. We will not use Crimson 8 again.

On calling the restaurant at 20.00 my partner was abruptly told that they close at 22.00! We went straight there which took us 5 mins upon arrival we were told to sit on a particular table and when we requested to sit else where as the table was in a position right by the bar, kitchen and toilet area we were told that we can’t and they wouldn’t allow us to sit any where else as there were 3 of us… so due to to attitude of the staff concerned we decided to leave and we have now decided that we will never return to Crimson Eight again. I cannot understand why the service is now so very poor, as a few years ago they were all so amazing in there!? Any way at least we saved ourselves about £90 as that would’ve been the going rate of our meal there!!🤗

Quality over quantity! The best duck pancakes you will have for a long time.At first you will think you haven't got a lot, but once you've tasted it and get to the end of the meal you'll know it was just right. This is a propa meal out, not a two Bob job, they even have the Chinese music playing.Staff are great, good atmosphere.Overall nice meal to get away from the kids.

Had a takeaway yesterday and must say the food was edible... Sweet n sour sauce was orangey tasting and the portion sizes for the money are a lot to be desidered.. Especially paying 5 for the smallest dish of seaweed. The duck was good but hardly any cucumber and spring onion for two people.. Don't think I'll be visiting here again
