Giraffe in Uttlesford

The best restaurant to spend time at Stansted Airport with its varied and delicious foods and pleasant atmosphere. I especially recommend trying their various breakfast options.

Perfect dining when you are waiting for the flight. Very good burgers, BBQ ribs more than delicious and very tasty naked burrito

When I really have to be in Stansted Airport, this is my breakfast venue of choice. Not a bad English breakfast at all, and the staff are cheerful. A good start to a holiday.

Very happy with my choice for pre departure lunch. I went for veggie bowl with tofu. Because I asked for tofu they took the egg off thinking I wanted it vegan (I'll bare that in mind next time). Very tasty and balanced flavours. Also big glass of tap water!

As airport eateries go, Giraffe is excellent. The cuisine that’s offered on its colourful menus is from all over the world. I took a Japanese angle and opted for the Gyoza and teriyaki dishes.The eating area is large, sociable, but not too packed in. Food is well presented, delivered quickly and freshly prepared. If the staff shared the same enthusiasm as the brightly decorated interior of Giraffe, it would be amazing. An enjoyable world culinary experience, quick and tasty.

Delicious food and relatively quick service. Friendly and helpful waiter. I would happily recommend this place for a breakfast before your flight.

Decent food, fairly quick service and nice ambience but the staff could have been a polite and the table for 2 could have more space between them. They don't have any toilets just like most of the airport restaurants.

Great location being right by the main waiting area - close to other shops and the shuttle to other gates. Waitress was friendly and served us in good time. Nice decor - imitating the African Savannah and the habitat of Giraffes.

Airports are not usually known for the best food and for that it was a decent meal. The Kati Roll (£9,50) was a easy on the eyes, the Onion Rings (£3,50) have been quite good and the two ciders were a delight for my @untappd efforts. 😊
