Hampton by Hilton in Uttlesford

Used the hotel before our flight the next day. The hotel is right next to the airport and a 5 minute walk which is perfect. The room we stayed in was unfortunately covered in stains on all the walls. We did let them know and they offered 50% of our money back or a free stay which we appreciated as most hotels wouldn't and I found the duty manager to be very nice. I've stayed here multiple times before and never had a problem with it so I can imagine it was a one off. The breakfast is good and just what you need before you fly. Only other negative is I wish they advertised more that you can get bar snacks 24hrs as we ended up purchasing a sandwich in the airport as we knew the restaurant would be closed when we arrived. Perfect hotel for those early morning flights and this is the first time I've had an issue with them and they sorted it very quickly which we appreciated.

We stayed here after arriving back to Stansted on a late flight, I had already messaged them to say we would be arriving late and we arrived they had us all checked in already and we were in bed within 5 minutes of us getting there. I was super happy with their service. Very lovely staff at every step of the way from reception to bar staff to the breakfast shift. I would definitely stay here again I think it was great value and the gym was also great!

Nice hotel close to the airport (5 minutes walking) and properly signed. The facility has a body gym and a restaurant. Great service offering the breakfast from 4am! This is a valuable. Rooms with all the essentials but we have to consider the scope of the staying . I had the dinner and I can’t complain about the food and the service despite a little bit of slowness to serve the dinner but not so critical.

It made a perfect stop for an early flight. In the evening, I used the drop-off by the entrance with no problems. I dropped off my family and bags and then found the long-stay parking. Meanwhile, they checked in.Once in, we all had a lovely shower and sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of options. After breakfast, we walked to the airport. It's just 5 minutes away by foot.

Great modern hotel(Paris should be proud of modern design). Staff where great and friendly. Room was excellent,breakfast too was excellent and you can takeaway. Breakfast starts around 430am which is great when you have an early start. My only complaint was the volume of the music (perhaps it was for the young staff 😊) otherwise will stay there again . I've stayed here several times for both business and pleasure. I've always been greeted by helpful and friendly staff. An overnight stay here always makes for a less stressful morning at the airport with it being so close to the terminal. The breakfast is always well stocked and has plenty to choose from. Being able to make your own waffles in the waffle iron is winner 🏆

Wonderful hotel. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Staff were all very friendly, and bartender Neal absolutely helped make our stay wonderful. Our daughter thought he was the best ever!Delicious food and fun atmosphere that made serious jet lag easier to handle! Will definitely stay again!

Nice hotel with decent breakfast. Decor is standard airport Hotel. Stayed in runway view room. Lost a star because the room I booked into was not ready even though I didn't check in until after midnight. Then they gave me a room with the power out. Then gave me extra key cards , still no luck so I had to move rooms. Then they forgot to move the wake up call to the new room. Lucky I was not not relying on it. The girl at the front desk did offer a rate discount which I turned down. I just wanted to get a bit of sleep tbh. Have to say she was very good though.Located just out the arrivals door and go left for about 200 yards and down the steps. Very handy.

Arrived on a late flight but it was no problem. Bar stays open 24 hours with food available. Lovely big relaxing bar that stayed fairly busy until we retired at about 1.30. Immaculately clean hotel with superb breakfast. Short walk to terminal, trains and buses.

Stayed for one night as we had an early flight and were delighted with our choice, not just because of the convenient location. The staff were lovely and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I particularly liked the fact that there were plenty of plugs and two situated conveniently near the dressing table! So often in hotel rooms you have to unplug something to plug in a hair dryer or have to style your hair blind because the plug is on the other side of the room to the mirror. A particularly big thank you to Kay Puddick for being so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble! Will definitely be staying there again.
