Hunters Meet in Uttlesford

Wonderful SPA day with afternoon tea. The staff were so helpful. Great massage and good facilities. Great value. We'll definately go again.

Went for a spa day and massages plus lunch. Really good treatments from a friendly staff. Super lunch served by the pool. We didn't use most of the facilities as we relaxed chatting to another couple over some wine. Very relaxing and we will definitely be back. It appears they do Spa weekends staying in the Hotel.

Stayed overnight. Bed was very comfy and the room was spacious. Had the 4 course meal, food was amazing and entertainment was great. Then used the spa which was also great. Afternoon tea was incredible. The service from start to finish was amazing,all the staff friendly and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay and will be back soon.

Had a fantastic stay here. So much better than the soulless corporate hotels. Staff couldn't do enough for you and the food was fantastic, best gammon I have had for ages. Will definitely use again when in the area.

Myself and my mum had a wonderful spa day with 2 treatments as a post Christmas treat. The team were so lovely and accommodating, making sure everything was perfect for us. We also had an afternoon tea which was delicious. I cant recommend this venue enough for a caring and personal touch. Thank you xx

The Hunters Meet is such a lovely place, the food here is superb, we’ve dined here with our friends and have visited here many times for Sunday dinner, every time we have visited we’ve had great food and always a really nice time. Fantastic quality, lovely atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. A real quality place. Although we don’t live as close as we used to we always make an effort to go back here as it’s worth every mile. Thank you to all the team and the chef at the Hunters Meet, can’t wait to return. :)

Had half day spa treatments. Aromatherapy massage, luxury facial and pedicure. Absolutely fabulous. Staff very caring and helpful and made my birthday experience amazing. Have booked to go back. Thank you

Stayed here for a work Christmas party. Lovely comfortable room. Great food for the party dinner and great entertainment. Breakfast was fairly basic but did the job after a party night!!

Went for a works Christmas knees up, it was Motown night, the band were really good, they got every one up dancing with classic Motown hits. The food was pretty good for mass catering, I had prawn cocktail whitch was a good size and the duck, which was alright. Its not fine dining but it was good portions, well cooked and hot, which is all you can really hope for with the larger venues, and the food came out at the same time (about 12-14 people on our table) and the staff were very nice.The only problem was the parking, as there was no spaces and I had to park round the corner on the verge, and also in the bathroom the toilets got blocked.Other than that, a really nice place for larger group gathering.

I had booked a table in the restaurant for a group lunch. Satnav was spot on getting to the restaurant. Good amount of off street parking.The staff were friendly and attentive. The menu was varied, plentiful and reasonably priced.We had a fantastic afternoon! The only reason it did not get 5 stars was, after we had left, I was made aware of an issue of the cleanliness of the toilets (female). I called the restaurant and informed them.Other than that, I would happily recommend Hunters Meet for somewhere to eat.
