Dirtiest Itsu I have been to, the floors and tables had not been kept clean by staff. The only thing worse than the cleanliness was the rude and lazy staff. The woman stood behind the counter on her phone, then when I asked to order she was really rude.

Standard Itsu offering... but eternally sold out. In the six times I've passed through Stansted in 2022, they've never had anything left in the fridges and have been sold out of most offerings on the board too.

Poor experience before our holiday, run out of rice, staff threw food around, attitudes like they didn’t want to be there. Tables filthy and not cleaned in ages, food everywhere. To top it off it’s overpriced for what you get, poor version of Itsu restaurant food.

Got there around 1pm (lunchtime) and the fridge area was empty. I didn't want anything from here but not a good first sign. I ordered a hot vegerterian dish but got told they had run out and the staff member said I could have the chicken. I don't eat meat which I informed him about and he gave me two other options which were vegerterian. Maybe if someone orders a vegetarian option don't recommend a meat option as an alternative. The staff member overall was quite abrupt and lacking in hospitality. The food was good as normal though.

Standard Itsu food which compared to other restaurants at Stansted means it’s a great option and good value for lunch etc.We came here around 9am on a weekday and it was empty compared to Pret/Leon a maybe because it’s more of a lunch place. We bought an Itsu Classic Box (Salmon Sushi) for the journey - cost £9.99 (and was £2 cheaper than to eat in). Didn’t try any but they had some nice looking smoothies since I last came here (see photos). I also bought a pink refill flask which is full of sparkling water but intended as a refillable bottle - really like it.Plenty of seating and situated near the shuttle train.

I went there for coffee, unfortunately they don't accept cash which was embarrassing to have some really nice paid for you coffee..

Let me start with a shout out to the staff. Very nice and polite.I ate a box of sushi based on salmon pieces. The salmon itself: not bad.The rice: tasteless. Pure grains cooked in waterAvocado: super hard and not ready to be eatenThe soy sauce in the tine bottle that came in the box: SUPER SALTY. Sea water with soya taste. Tried the one in the big bottle that says less 45% salt.. still salty and looked like it has been sitting in there open, since before covid. Its just pure vinegar with soy taste.Do not recomend

The spicy chicken udon soup was enjoyable. Quite spicy and with a nice poached egg and fresh vegetables. A little on the citric acid side flavour wise, but I didn't exactly expect 24 hour chicken broth. It definitely didn't lack flavour.

They have decent sushi and rice bowls at this place. The sushi is a little on the dry side, can tell that it's not really fresh. The rice bowl on the other hand is a tally pretty tasty, comes with an egg on top however lacking heavily on the seasoning, you'll definitely be adding extra salt and pepper to that thing. Overall its decent. Easy to get to and find.
