Red Chilli in Uttlesford

Avoid like the plague unless you want a severe case of food poisoning!!

Chef out the back smoking whilst walking around the carpark. Assuming he put out in the bin after and washed he's hands. I won't be going there

Chips were and soggy, pie was microwaved and rock hard and fish was greasy. Won't be ordering from them again.

Have only used the fish and chips shop but we've been going there since we moved to the area in 2009, nowhere has beaten their chips yet for us!

Half the shop is Indian takeaway and the other half is a fish and chip shop. Lovely food, and the Indian menu even has some chef specials you won't find elsewhere

Only eaten fish and chips here not tried Indian yet, Started using here as my clients said it was good, food always tasty, portions are good and the main thing is my little boy says there burgers are better than macdonalds ones and he's a big fan lol Thank you will be in tomorrow 😊

Can't praise this place and it's staff high enough. Have never had a bad meal here. Food is always so tasty and fresh. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Slowly working our way through the menu.

We have been using Red Chilli for years, but was very disappointed last night, ordered a salad in pitta and there was no pitta, we only had half portions of cheesy chips and mayonnaise instead of garlic mayonnaise. I rung and complained and the customer service was terrible, so rude, I was told I would not get a refund

In town for a week so tried the chip shop. Had sausage batter and chips which looked and tasted reheated, so try the indian few days later. In hindsight should of read reviews before making the same mistake twice. Food order was wrong to start with, credit they redelivered the main dish. First piece of chicken didn't taste right, tried another but couldnt eat it, long story short had stomach cramps and many visits to the toilet for the next 12 hours.

Having used them for nearly 3 years. And twice in 2 nights .I wasn't impressed. Asked for a plaice and chips for my girlfriend and battered sausage as we were going to share the chips £10 later. Staff were off and rude .Happy to take your money. Fish came from a chest freezer frozen i guess and took around 8 minutes to cook . We arrived home served and went to eat it .the chips weren't the best and the fish was disgusting. No texture but mush inside the sausage in batter was the same quality. Really if you want people to come back get your act together.
