Rose and Crown in Uttlesford

Great Sunday lunch! A very attentive team looked after us. The food was well prepared, meat cooked just as requested, excellent Yorkshire puddings! A really enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

Had a brilliant Sunday roast out on their gorgeous new terrace. Food was fantastic with generous portions and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Heaps of parking. Dogs welcome. I'll be back again very soon!

Great Sunday roast, veggie and vegan options. Dogs very welcome and wonderful team. Sun trap terrace out the back in the centre of an idyllic village. Will definitely be back!

An excellent breakfast, thank you! My wife especially enjoyed her vegan breakfast, she said it was very tasty. We will definitely be going back again to treat ourselves.

Such a great country pub- fab food and incredible service. So lovely with dogs too, despite some bad behaviour from mine 🙈 Really recommend it. We will deffo be back 🙌🏻

Had a super lunch here last week and would highly recommend the Rose & Crown! Greg and Dionne were most welcoming and the new chef turned out some wonderful meals. Beer was excellent and local - Wylde Sky, lovely to be in a Free House. Will be back for a take away Sunday Roast soon! Thank you!

Cute little pub. Cool 80s music. Sunday roast was very tasty. But beef wasn't pink at all and was cut into uniformed rectangles, odd. Wine glasses had lipstick and the washer blamed. My friend's fork was coated in rust. Other than that, good.

Just been here for lunch. Greg was friendly and welcoming. Food and beer was on point, nice chilled out music and atmosphere. Also great for kids, our daughter can't wait to go back. We will be returning soon and would recommend to others.

While exploring the area we decided to go here for a coffee. Greg was friendly and offered us some of Dion's soup which was delicious, and we also had a table companion, Spike the dog. We went in as customers and came out as friends. Thank you what a gem
