Subway in Uttlesford

This Subway is a dazzling pickle in an otherwise joyless salad of a high street. It's more than a subway, a tasty potato of hope among snacks. Doubly amazing at times, but mostly notable for its banality.Breathe life into my sandwich! Become one with cheese!

Great clean restaurant, well kept with plenty of seating areas. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Their scanner never works, so all your rewards go to waste. Literally not worth the queue or the price, which given by recent reduction in portion size, I am patiently waiting for the staff to get an electron microscope so they can put the 4 single molecules of tuna in my sub.

My wife and I were just asked to leave as we waited for our youngest child to order. He required a pep talk to go order by himself and by the time he got into line my wife began to eat something she'd purchased elsewhere that she was carrying. The Subway representative came from around the corner and, in front of all, asked us parents to leave. Another patron who was just receiving his food spoke up and pointed out that our son was in line to order. Subway responded by saying that he could stay, but we’d need to leave. Needless to say, we all left and will never go back. Great impression on the next generation, Subway.

Go in subways all the time for lunch. This place give you barely any meat for your sandwich and when you go to any other subway on the planet they literally double it up. When I brought this o to the guy he snuggly said no I’m wrong and it isn’t like that. Save your money

This is the second time I have been to Subway in Saffron Walden recently great for a cheap and quick lunch ,the man and lady serving are always,friendly and helpful and looks clean, meatball sub with choice of salad stuff and sauce ,coffee and a cookie all for £4.30 😋

There's 5 minutes of life lost. New staff member left on own run in entire store. Didn't know how to cut bread. Had to ask 5 times what I wanted. Couldn't apply discount from card. Quiet as a mouse. Left standing like a lemon. Classic large chain store service we come to expect.

Nice place not to expensive. Didn't see any toilets. Service a little bit slow but he was on his own. OK for a quick bite.

Facts are facts. We could all do this at home. So star rating is on staff. Bored, unfriendly and non suggestive. Very unpleasant experience. Should of got the ingredients and did it at home.
