Tanoshii in Uttlesford

It's been quite a few years since we last ate here so I thought I'd book for fathers day.The staff were excellent, no waiting around to order drinks or food.We chose the all you can eat menu. Excellent value for money.Every dish freshly cooked and so tasty.Will definitely be returning soon.Highly recommend Tanoshii.

The experience was very concerning. Food was lovely. But badly served. When arriving and seated, order for drinks was taken, then 2 more staff came to ask if we had been see too. After placing order, my order was incorrect. So had to ask them to change the order. There is a buffet you can order eat as much as you want on a Sunday. Or another menu. When receiving the bill, a service charge is added. Pls make sure you check your bill. There is no where written that the company will charge for this. We had asked for it to be removed. Was not happy with the service provided. I sorry to say. Thank you to the chef for the lovely food.

Service was poor they did not know what we ordered. They continually got things wrong the food was nice .But the staff are always in your face will never go there again

Fantastic food in the restaurant particularly the Sunday buffet they also offer a great home delivery service. Recommend.

Very long wait between courses, we were there for 3 hours! Told we couldn't order desert of have the complimentary tea/coffee because they were closing.Food was ok. Staff were not the friendliest.

Meal ok, service not Happy.Set priced for meal. Eat what you like of the menu their was 6 people in all but only four of choice came for 6 people so we had to ask for more.And you only had a certain time to eat your meal that you ordered, as it closes at nine pm.The bill came up over £300 which we went into shock as the set meal was £19.95 for each person that's without your drink and only 2 people are drinking wine as the other only had soft drinks.The 3 glasses are at one size.But they put on the bill for 5. So from over £300 the bill now stood at £150...very disappointed in this restaurant.

This was our first time visiting Tanoshii after 1 year planning because of lockdown. The food was delicious, fresh, very tasty and everything so so good. We managed to try almost everything we wanted on the menu. The service was super fast and e everyone very kind there. This is our favourite Chinese from now on :) . Worth a try ! I recommend 100%

Totally a hidden gem. Never had food from here before. Ordered last minute as our cooker broke down!Amazing food. Best chicken balls we've ever had. A little bit more expensive than some other places I've eaten locally. But worth every penny. They will be our new goto when we want to get Chinese food.
