Tea Amo Cafe in Uttlesford

My daughter loved the tea pot and the menu was great for both adults and kids!

Lovely place! We had our Saturday's breakfast there in the tables outside. The place was very nice, had a broad menu, big portions and the food was delicious. The ladies were very nice and even offered some water plate and treats for our dog. Totally recommended!

Haven’t got a warm and not-too-flaky scone for a while :) I should have chosen some stronger, more traditional tea instead of the festive fruit one though.

We were walking around and happened to see this little cute cafe that looked very cosy.They have a wide range of teas and cakes, they also have coffee. I had the apple pie, and was really nice. They also had Victoria cake and several more which looked delicious.If you like tea and cake, I highly recommend it.

Good cafe. Best bagel my wife has had for a while. Kids hot chocolate served in a tea cup with a little mug which went down well with the little one.

Stopped for lunch here. They happily accommodated my gluten free request. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and after about 30mins decided to check in on our order as we'd noticed a couple of other tables who had arrived the same time as us already paying after their lunch. We were kindly told our ticket had got lost and that we shouldn't be waiting more than 5mins now. After 10 mins we checked again and another lady said she'd find out. A couple of mins later, the sandwiches were delivered and we were told it was because the club sandwich takes long (45 mins?!) to prepare. Appreciate the honesty of the lost ticket but not the blame on the sandwich selection. Food lovely and my husband enjoyed his club sandwich!

After a disastrous attempt to get served at another cafe nearby we happened to find this delightful cafe Tea Amo today during a very busy period. Welcoming staff and prompt service. I had a lovely cheese and pickle sandwich and my wife had avocado on toast. Simple food but delicious and a generous serving. I think the owner initially served us and she was lovely and had a quick chat, the other girls there were lovely and gave us great service. Will definitely be visiting again when we are next in Saffron Walden. Thank you Tea Amo 😊
