Thursday night visit about 8:30 after a 10k HBO run. We sat out in the back garden area for an hour, chatting & enjoying the drinks. Nice selection of drinks & we all had different ones. Would recommend a visit to here when in the area.

Lovely country town pub, that proudly offers their freshly made food. As first time visitors we enjoyed a warm welcome and great food. The steak & ale pie and fish & chips were clearly made by a chef with a passion for good English cooking. The sherry cake desert was nice but could have been more convincing. Service with a smile.We'll be back.

Booked a family meal for eight of us. Menu had plenty of choice, all the usual pub food favourites (steaks, pies, fish, gammon), and a few extras as well. Good to see a choice of vegetarian friendly options, I can recommend the veggie lasagne which was very tasty and filling. Everyone was extremely happy with the food, the service was good and all very reasonably priced.

Fantastic village pub with an extensive menu of delicious food. There is definitely something for everyone. Desert Menu is a must! All freshly cooked & served by helpful & accommodating staff. Lovely little beer garden tucked away up through the archway.
