It's a lovely café and a must stop off point whilst in Saffron Walden. It's buzzing with energy which is reflected by the exciting menu. I had "health" which was deliciously balanced and some top ingredients. I also tried the red velvet beetroot latte which was an interesting take on a latte, a definite conversation starter. All in all the service was great with good food and a larger than life welcoming atmosphere.

Had a lovely lunch here with a friend. It was a Friday so busy but managed to get a table. Great salad choices as well as a variety of other lovely food. Would recommend and will meet here again.

Absolutely excellent, the best breakfast hash I’ve ever eaten. Wonderful staff, friendly, playful and honest about wait times, and (very nearly) everything on the menu can be made gluten free. Highly recommended.

The GF and I have eaten there a few times now, perfect stop for a morning-after-the-night-before feed. Or brunch/lunch or whenever you turn up! If there's a queue then wait, it's worth it.

Decided to visit The Curious Goat for Sunday brunch seeing as many people have recommended it and I was not dissapointed.Outside there was a short wait owing to the fact that the restaurant was full, the entire time (maximum of ten minutes anyway) the host was very attentive and made sure that everyone was kept updated of how long their table would be.Once inside the amazing service continued, as stated the restaurant was at capacity but I was made to feel welcome and there was no delay in the ordering or food being served. In addition to the great service both the food and drinks are absolutely fantastic and as they provide take away whenever I am in town I will definitely be returning for coffees! No hesitation in giving this 5 stars, all in a great experience.

Great value for money, fast service and cozy. Will come back again.

Really enjoyed the brunch food here. Staff were warm and attentive too. Great vegetarian options and portion sizes are decent too. Shall be visiting the branch in London in the future.

I can not sing this places praise enough!I come from a strong hospitality background myself after spending a long 13 years init myself!I really can not fault this place it's so clean and tidy with such a nice atmosphere 😍The 2 beautiful people that served me Laura & zeyna.Service with a smile seemed very natural to them, where this place shines above every other establishment in that town is they don't make you feel like your annoying member of the public. And you don't feel like your bothering them.Almost every other place in saffron walden just makes you feel like a nuisance and they are just doing it to earn there wages.I could go on and on butStaff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Hygiene ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Drinks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Overall standards ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐A massive 10/10 from meI will be bring my friends and family here in the future keep up the amazing standardsKind regardsEdwardBedbrook

Had an excellent brunch on Sunday.Pancakes for better half, that looks great, and tastes good too.I had the hash browns and chorizo, with some halloumi. Large portion and tasty.Quite a queue built up, after 1030, and we had to wait for food. Worth the wait
