The Little Seafood Bar in Uttlesford

Not my first time at this very nice fish restaurant. We went on a hot day and were able to sit outside.The food was second to none and since the restaurant got it's alcohol license they have a good selection of beers, lager and wine's.The service was good and staff cheerful with a good knowledge of the menu .Will be coming back in the not too distant future.

Wow! This place is incredible. Smartly presented modern bar with the most spectacular selection of fish and shellfish. Helpful and friendly staff were the cherry on top for us here.

The seafood was lovely, service great, and prices were fine, however there was an unbelievable amount of flies in our area of the restaurant - it was distracting while eating and a little bit gross.

I accidentally found a place to eat fish while looking on google maps.I was surprised at the nice and rustic place in a small village.However, seems to have also been pointed out by other users that the lunch menu is more extensive or with better deals.I tried in the evening and still happy with the choice, the staff and the good service all very good and very kind.The one thing I would like to point out is that it touches me a lot, for example, since I'm Italian, you don't put Parmesan cheese on pasta with fish normally, second the linguine pasta had been cut and not left whole, perhaps in order to better mix the pasta with the seasonings. One last thing, the bathroom is located outside the structure and to access it you have to cross the kitchen.The service charge is 12.5% ​​as average and for two people with 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 dessert and 2 drinks we paid around £85.

5 star seafood restaurant and so lucky to have this on our doorstep. The menus are great with a mix of fish, shellfish and oysters. The scallops were cooked beautifully, the presentation and service is also 5 star. Highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful seafood meal cooked perfectly.

It's a shame as I'm a massive sea food fan, it does give you your fix but the quality of the food is low and the prices high..I had the dressed crab, if your a fan of these you know they are a dence packed mass of far to much brown meat with enough white meat to fill a cup! Not here, I'm still wondering where all the crab actually went?Brown meat non existent and clearly the white meat had been shredded and packed as loosely as possible with just enough to make it look almost full. If I got 10 fork fulls I would be surprised. I'm guessing the rest is going in to other products like rolls ???Anyway even this would be acceptable if it didn't then cost £16 ..The rest of the products are equally disappointing and a small portion of frozen prawns at £6

I called in the morning as my previous provider had let me down. They were fantastic. Providing a full choice of various seafood for a large fish platter for a party. When I picked it up I realised they serve food and drinks also. I bought a prawn cocktail sandwich was was pricey but so worth it, best one I've ever had...juicy prawns with fresh salad and brown bread...I can't what for the next one. Thanks to the team at the seafood Cafe...I will definitely be coming back for a sit in meal real soon also. 😋

What a cute and well laid out seafood bar. Delicious options and great prices. Specials board, takeaway options hot and cold. Highlights for us was the prawn cocktail starter and the sizzler and battered platters. Will definitely return to try the prawn tacos next!

Seafood surprise far away from seaside! I recommend lunch deal as for £15 you can get starter and for example hot platter all together when hot platter is the same size as when ordered just as main without lunch deal option. Great food but it was too cold in there.
