The Maypole Thaxted in Uttlesford

Amazing team , beautiful pub in a lovely village . Tonight they had Lisa Martin singing as Adele and Karen Carpenter! And she was absolutely brilliant 👏 . Will definitely come again, especially if she is singing! 😎

Was very impressed with the amazing spread put on for a funeral I recently attended at the Maypole. Made very welcome and the place is very clean and has a lovely garden area. Would definitely recommend for functions, just a drink or a lovely meal.

Great plant based/vegan meal today at The Maypole. Lovely staff and really pleasant atmosphere. So nice to go somewhere that has more than just your standard vegan burger or curry options on the menu! I had the Mediterranean vegetable tart and my husband had a nut roast - both were delicious! Thanks guys!

Went there 15th December. Lovely pub and the food was delicious. 12 of us and the service was great. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent pub. Very good beer/food both good prices. Excellent and helpful staff all very covid aware. Good large beer garden and car park. Excellent entertainment.

Had a beautiful lunch in the garden. Great options on the menu, cooked to perfection. Really delicious wine options. Overall great value. All the staff are lovely and accommodating with a positive and relaxed atmosphere. Faultless.The new renovations and landscaping in the garden makes the place magical. Definitely will be back to try the cocktails!

We had a beautiful meal on Saturday lunch time, absolutely 1st class.. the real ales are kept superbly at this pub. We had a lovely welcome and the service was fantastic. I cannot recommend this pub enough, thank you so much for a lovely time, I can't wait to visit again.
