The Prince of Wales in Uttlesford

Lovely country pub featuring great value for money and we'll cooked and presented food.Midweek 2 for a tenner meals. We had fish and chips which was excellent and a reasonable portion. Bishop Nick's beers on. Really can't fault it.

I called in here on route when Stephenson's bus cancellations left me walking from Stansted Airport to Thaxted. Only Wrongbow, but welcome in the circumstances. I was told they often had Aspsals cider, but were having supply problems.

Great local pub with loads of character and friendly people. Definitely worth a visit!

Happy friendly staff, food was delicious 😋 and reasonably priced. Pub lovely, warm and cosy, very pleased we stopped for a bite to eat. 😃

Just had lunch with old friends. First time we had ever used this pub, what a brilliant experience, top pub food top beer, above all it was very welcoming. Great hosts. Will definitely use again.

A proper honest pub. Never eaten here but have on a number of occasions popped in for a swift beer while passing through and have always been greeted by friendly staff and a superb well kept pint. And will do so again ASAP!

Lovely!Visited here for dinner before retiring to the Stansted airport premium Inn for an early flight tomorrow.Nice & simple menu, very reasonably priced with a good beer selection in the bar.Starters are great, I had the chicken goujons which came with a sticky sweet chilli dip which was legendary!All in all a cosy & warm welcome awaits you.
