"The Stag is a traditional country pub in the pretty village of Little Easton, close to Great Dunmow and a convenient distance from Stansted Airport. We are Free House providing a great selection of real ale and delicious home cooked food. A traditional pub with a warm welcome for all. We have an extensive rear garden overlooking beautiful countryside and a camping field (prior booking required please). Open Weds through to Sunday and Mons and Tues by prior arrangement."

Stayed over in our camper for 1 night. Electric limited but available. No kitchen staff that evening but the landlord kindly made us a lovely curry which was delicious. Thanks for the stay Glen

We popped in here on a trip back from Ipswich, lovely little find, Sunday lunches were pre-book only but they asked the chef if he could fit us in and he did, the food was lovely all of it, I cleaned my plate, best Sunday roast in ages. Would come again if we ever come through here again :)

Went to a classic car show there and it's a lovely place to visit, the grounds are lovely, there is a tea room with many cakes available.

Small but lovely pub. Sat in a nice corner with a warm radiator. Had picture taken with Otteo (the landlord's Hungarian Vizier) Please see pics of him sitting on my lap, and insisted on putting his whole body on me. Bless! He kept bringing his ball over to me to play with him. So enjoyable!

We had a very nice curry. Staff very friendly. It was quiet but a lovely pub. Looking forward to trying their Sunday roast very soon.

A pleasant local with reasonably priced well cooked food. The Sunday roast is one of the best around. You might find that the bar staff are more interested in chatting to the locals than serving... one time I just walked out after being ignored. There is off-road parking in a field behind the pub.
