Great food, great service, great village pub! They were busy tonight but the staff work so hard to make sure everyone gets good service. The food is superb too!

We had our family Christmas day dinner today, and the meal was fantastic and plentiful, the Staff were very helpful and attentive, we will definitely book again for next year's Christmas. Would have been nice to have some background music while eating our meal . But all in all a thumbs up. 👍

An excellent pub with big, great value plates. We visited recently as a convenient stop off on the way to a holiday, and got a warm welcome and some delicious food.Portions are big - I had the gammon steak with chips and two eggs, while my friend had the rock eel & chips. Both were great value, and we'll cooked. If I lived nearby I'd be here all the time

If you’re looking for a fantastic country pub with a warm welcome from the friendly staff and a collection of interesting cricket memorabilia, I can highly recommend this pub. Homemade food a tasty bonus. I will return!

What a wonderful place this is. A beautiful garden with plenty of seating and room for social distancing AND a small play area to keep little ones happy. The food was delicious, served by friendly and competent staff.The Sunday roast, complete with a variety of vegetables was awesome. Being a vege I opted for Stilton and Mushroom pie, which was cooked to perfection, the pastry was so light and melted in your mouth. Our first visit, but we will definitely be going again.
